How do you target 1080p/60 on pc? J/c
I totally get targeting res/fr for a console but PC is all over the map.
I like how xb1 has a legit twitch app. I'd love for ps4 to get one as well.
I think it's probably more so that you're getting used to next gen graphics. What was impressive a year or so ago is slowly becoming more the norm than it was
Eh what can ya say? Fanboys will throw anything and everything out there if they can. NO ONE knew about the lack of dynmaic shadows from street lights at night until SP mentioned it. Then all of the sudden fanboys are all "Looks good but where are the shadows!?"
Normally I'm a big supporter of dynamic lighting, but even then when you see how amazing this game looks, especially at night, shadows are the last thing you're looking for. And let's not pretend...
@n4rc do you not at least agree that it benefits XB1 sales JUST A BIT by not having the 360 release at the same time?
You don't think that'd be a convenient thing for MS to push XB1 sales?
Whether or not it's true, you at least have to admit it will help XB1 by NOT having 360 TF same day.
Might only be 2 hours but Ill go back and redo that 2 hours MANY times. Is that worth the price to me? I believe that it will be.

Agreed but what I mean is for any individual game, graphics catch our eyes and help build that amazing experience but going back to that game 10 years later, after the graphics are now outdated, the nostalgia that punches you in the face is the music.
Very creative stuff... unfortunately it doesn't look like it will be anything more than a novelty to revisit from time to time to mess around with for 5 minutes.

Let's be honest... for MANY people this game was going to be a letdown regardless of what the final game was. I'm 12 hours in and it's been a joy playing it.
Author brings up fair points. Personally I like AA better than AC because it was a tighter experience with less.... filler. That filler being a large lifeless city. But I have faith in RS and what they can do with next gen.
Graphics matter initially, the music is what sticks with us.

Of course I'm glad they're going to push the envelope... the tragedy of modern gaming is so many AAA games fail to push the envelope because publishers want to be safe on everything.
