I think you all missed the sarcasm in my post. In other words, it's not JUST people making sony exclusives praising the system, unlike most the 'praise' we see on xbox one where it's either exclusive devs or MS themselves talking it up.
doesn't matter if they have BETTER graphics, even. They still don't allow the same type of gameplay.
GTA is sandbox...until you do actual missions. Then it can be just as linear as any other action game. Go here, get this car, take it here, walk over here.......etc.
GTA is a jack of all trades game. You can do ANYTHING... but nothing by itself is really amazing. I'm excited for WD because it looks more grounded and focused. May not do 1/6 of what GTA does, but what it does do, might be better. Hopefully

You'd THINK it was next gen... you know... using the 'power of the xbox one' that turn 10 is always going on about. The Xb1 doesn't have enough power to pull off realtime lighting or even day/night cycles. Does that mean the game will be bad? No way... but it's a sign that this box isn't all that powerful.

the difference will come in the form of load times and draw distances/amount of things drawn on screen at once. The major differences from the past (lighting, textures, character models & resolution) obviously can only go so far.
Just how is adding mech suits 'thinking outside the box'? How is this game "taking risks"? I've seen a lot of gameplay of it. It looks super polished and well done. I just don't see why it's be hailed as the second coming.
