2K said there will be more Bioshock games. No doubt those of us that follow Ken Levine will be skeptical but that's not to say the series is dead. It just lost it's Steve Jobs.
do you normally get 10 hours from demos? I don't. So to me, if I can get that many hours (even if it's multiple playthroughs) then that's worth $30 to me. It all comes down to how fun it is for each person. I'd rather play a 2 hour game that's addictively fun over and over again for $30 than a 20 hour game that's boring for $60.
I don't know if you all noticed.... but... x360 multiplat games looked better on 360 last gen than ps3 versions. 99% of the time. Who won last gen worldwide? Ps3. What does that prove? That people like the playstation brand because of their exclusives. So how can a relatively insignificant boost in performance from dx12 suddenly make the already weaker xb1 who is already getting dominated worldwide suddenly compete?
...to go with your titanfall socks while you sip titan juice out of your titanfall mug. let's brand everything titanfall!
Just like sucker punch and their infamous games. I mean if you don't spoil absolutely everything about the gameplay before release then obviously you're hiding a bad product.
That's how the logic works these days around here, right?
I think what sold a LOT of people, including myself, is how they emphasized the importance of a controller & a TV. When the kickstarter launched for OUYA, at that time I was convinced next gen was going to be a gimmicky mess with far more emphasis on motion controls and casual gaming than ever before so they sold me on the idea of OUYA with their pitch. Problem for me was the hardware was far too weak, even for small indie games, and that Sony came out and announced the PS4 which totally...
weirdly enough, what excites me about OR isn't related to games present or in the future, i'm really wanting one to visit black mesa and games I played in the late 90s... to see those worlds in VR would be so surreal.
PC would be amazing, mainly for the mods. Look at nba 2k series on pc and how insane those mods can get. It would be limitless.
Jesus is ANYTHING thriving these days? Everythings going under seems like.
midtown madness hahaha
played the first 2 on pc and played the third on xbox. Played that a LOT online. Some fun MP action.
all 5,000 of them.
so you only play exclusives huh? Kinda missing out.
i’m hoping the batmobile works like a horse in red dead… you can go wherever and when you need it you (whistle?) call for it and it auto drives to you
I just don't see the point of this movie. It's target audience is obviously the people who played the game... but the game is so cinematic and SO well done (visuals, story, acting etc) that a movie just seems like a waste. I mean the game is practically a movie within a game already.
It is interesting that on amazon US charts, despite strong placement of titanfall at #3, ps4 is still at #1 with xb1 tf bundle at #11 with regular xb1 system at 20 or 30 something.
Can anyone show me a pc game that looks as good as infamous or the order that ISN'T using some user mod? Oh, because PCs basically just get multiplat games anyway. Kinda pointless to have all that expensive hardware when you're getting console ports. It's ashame but that's why I main go to consoles nowadays. Gone are the days of the mid-late 90's where pc games were fully realized.
Genuine question: is that possible with the hardware that's in it? I thought hardware had to be optimized for a certain DX right out of the gate? Is that not right?
If we as gamers take our time to go into the next gen, so will the publishers --if at all. This is a war against mobile/casual gaming and opting in on next gen early is THE best way to show publishers the demand is still here and not to abandon us. Obviously you should be smart with your money, don't buy a new console if it's going to keep you from paying the bills-- but look at your purchase as an investment in the future of what will be amazing titles.

tip: if you cross your eyes and line up the two screens in your vision, you can see it in 3D.
another tip: to do that, keep the video small. If you full screen it youll need to sit back quite a ways to do this.
