Unless you already own it on one of the many consoles it's already on. If you have it on XBO or PS4 why on earth would you get it on a (likely) lesser powered system with (likely) much less of an online community?
Christ is that all some people do anymore? Scour the internet looking for things that offend them personally?

There's a "leak" of what half-life 3 will be like and it sounds very similar to what you're saying. Very organic and everything plays out in real time and dialog is constructed based on what's happening. Maybe be totally fake but I love the concept of that.
Exactly. What might seem like a simple 3 different endings could end up potentially being 100+ endings by the end of the third game if you allowed each ending to branch out, it would be absurd. The choices, by that very nature, have to be pretty limited, unfortunately.
This series is the anti-blockbuster. Stays low, under the radar, doesn't make a lot of noise. Yet, still sells really well.
Sorry but THAT audience is on mobile now. And honestly, we don't need that audience back. The damages in the video game industry caused by the wii fad lasted far too long. We don't need fads and flashes in the pan tricking any more CEOs into thinking we all want gimmicks and novelties.
It will sell what it needs to sell, though. HR did very well and it garnered a LOT of attention throughout the years from players who often put it in their top 5 of last gen, myself included. MD will very much appeal to that crowd and, from the sounds of it, they've improved on this game in nearly every way. Facial animations and takedowns excluded.
Game reviews get more divisive as time goes on... this is a 2/10 - 10/10 game.
Okay, well, I got this kid's back.
But why would any of us need those numbers? We aren't owed any numbers...
"Don't need an xbox for xbox games anymore" "hey, you're playing xbox too much, go outside" Okay, MS, stop trying to get me off your system.
But the question is, after the GO fad (and it is a fad once moms, grandmas and aunties are playing something) wears off, what's left? NX, by all accounts, has an extraordinary uphill battle ahead of it, just like the WiiU had. The surge is great for N right now but IMO there isn't really anything sustainable behind it with any kind of longevity. Not unless they can keep repeating GO's success with other things, which rarely ever happens.
Last I checked, the people I know who play xbox games aren't going to suddenly go buy a gaming PC. They buy consoles because they like the console. Not because they HAVE to buy the console. Obviously those with gaming PCs will now question any further xbox purchases, which will no doubt have SOME impact. But let's not pretend that everyone who buys an Xbox is doing so against their will because they all have/want gaming PCs.
Basing this comment on an article title I saw a few weeks back: They need to start selling games and stop trying to sell the box/brand.
I'd be more inclined to call the 3% lead the PC has over XBO extraordinarily embarrassing.
Because they aren't really making new fans. Nintendo is big with millenials. Not really with kids nowadays anymore. They're into games they can play on Playstation or Xbox. Nintendo is still strong because the kids that grew up with it are still buying nostalgia, which is what they're selling. What happens after that?
Playstation is doing a great job continuously pumping in new blood to their ecosystem, creating new fans all over the world. 3rd party support is...
By the time anything like this comes to market, the fad will have long since worn off. So you'll have a tiny fraction of the people still playing this game, and an even tinier fraction who actually get hololens. But 100% of the hololens GO players will be getting robbed in dark alleys.
Given how amazing TLOU was, I can't necessarily so it's a bad strategy but... I don't need every game to have more TLOU in it. What made TLOU stand out was that it was so refreshing and different. That's not going to be the case you start implementing it's tone, camera angle and gameplay(ish) into your exclusives. That's not to say there aren't things to take away from TLOU, just don't lose sight of the integrity of your other exclusives.
Interesting, so were you there bashing Sony when they first showed the PS4? Because it wasn't 'offering new experiences'? Stop flaming someone because they like a brand you've deemed unlikeable.
It's like saying "is the original xbox one controller going to fail because the much more expensive Elite controller is on the way? Nope... not at all. XBO controller still sells in top 10 of amazon daily. Elite is also successful in it's own right. There's a market for both. Same applies with the consoles.
