And you know Crackdown 3 is next in line to be canceled.
Hey man, we in America... yeah sometimes we mix dates up because we were taught the wrong format -- among other things. I would say we're working on it but, yeah, totally not.
So why don't shadows move during time lapses? Is the sun not the actual source of light for these mods?
@FantasticPS4 Patriotism? PS4 & XBO sell neck and neck here. This is not the country for that claim in regards to hardware sales.
I'm not fully convinced MS won't take a bit of a loss at first and price it at $399 just to get it off the ground running. Could be a smart, long term investment.
I can tell you one valuable lesson it still hasn't picked up even since Wii. Power. The ability to host the very same mega blockbuster 3rd party games beloved by 10's of millions of gamers that you just can't/won't be able to play on Nintendo. Still. And somehow N fans try to justify that the exclusives are all that count anyway. Meanwhile in Xbox land... exclusives don't matter! It's amazing how narratives change.
You can't kill a genre if you're pretty much the only one doing something in a genre. And yes, they had massive success with RDR which by default means that any other western game will immediately be compared to it. No way around that. Rockstar did something amazingly well and it's up to other devs (if demand for more western games is even there) to step up and make something that can compete. Personally, my only interest in RDR2 is because of Rockstar. Any other western game, I d...
Third Party: Will wait and see if gamers support it.
Gamers: Will wait and see if third party supports it.
Articles like these seem more like self-help therapy. It's like people buy a system, second guess their decision and in a desperate attempt to justify it, they start making lists of why their purchase was a good one, even though their reasoning is nonsensical and could, in fact, serve as BETTER reasons for going with the other system. Here's a tip: when you buy a system and it was worth it, you won't be having to make lists to help convince yourself it was worth it. You'll jus...
Wow, congrats you successfully listed off exclusives. Sometimes people really seem to try a little too hard to convince others (and themselves?) that the purchasing of their system was worth it. You sound like a advertisement.
"Our SP games aren't selling, must be because everyone wants MP" Yeah, I know what's next. "People aren't buying our MP games, must be because everyone is on mobile."
Bigger, bolder, and more conceptually realized!? Did we play the same game? How is it bigger? One hub about the size of Shanghai. Bolder? Instead of dealing with storylines on a global scope, we play as an investigator for a train bombing in Prague. More conceptually realized? They tacked on a couple more augs by way "Oh wow looks like you had more augs in you than we realized, oops". Not to mention augs are far too OP and completely take away the challenge. I think it's an exam...
It's an awful game built on a great engine. And the story couldn't have fallen harder on its face if they tried. The sales reflect that therefore you see the game being sold at bargain bin prices just mere months after release.
MS is more into buying rights on a game-to-game basis rather than buying studios or IPs. Also, the main reason Ryse got mixed reviews is because it was a Kinect game-turned-traditional. I'm betting if they had a chance to do a sequel that was focused from the start to be a core game, it'd be much more well received. But I can't see it being a big seller, TBH. It being a launch title is what propelled it as far as it went.
"very high end handheld" Only if you're not comparing it to modern smart phones and tablets, of which many have better specs.
Seriously. How long can we keep living in denial about how Nintendo is screwing up literally the one thing it's always been able to do right.
Hypothetical AAA games will run them pretty great compared to the hypothetical Wii U versions.
This is a shameful tactic by 2K, plain and simple. Releasing the remastered versions (with BC no where in sight) got many, many people to feel like this was there only way back in to Rapture. Then, just a couple months after release they come out and say that "oh, btw, if you owned them on 360 you can now play them for free on XBO).
By that time PS5 will have long since been out. Death Stranding doesn't go into full swing production until later in 2017. PS5 softly rumored to be 2019. Takes more than 2 years to do a full fledged new IP.
Different times, different circumstances, different reviewers. Look how many crap games got higher scores than TLOU on Polygon.
