Also full on PS4 Pro support
Well I suppose that's true, for a micro game where you can walk around and pick things up and set them back down, I guess you'd say that 'VR is the only real way to enjoy this trash game.' So.. yeah. To enjoy some trash games, VR is the way to go.
But, I mean, that's hardly a selling point.
By this logic one could say A Link to the Past is still the best game on Wii U.
Seems releasing on the most popular console might give this franchise some legs, yeah?
I think deep down we all kinda knew this is just a newer, shinier 3D TV mini fad. VR is kind of a jack of all trades, master of none type device. There's not really one particular thing you can point at and say "THAT, you really need VR for." because regardless of what it is, there's a deeper, better -albeit less immersive- option available on a console. And for far less money.
...where do I sign?
It's certainly an issue for many, though. If MS can at least get more people supporting the 3rd party games because they look and run better than that'll be a start. It's the reason I got most 3rd party games last gen on 360 (because of performance) even though PS3 was my favorite system.
Unless you're a racing fan (both circuit & open world) then kinda have to go with PS4. Just too much variety to ignore. Except it doesn't have the Forza series.
It's a theme. Most games have themes. And yes it's a selling point like any other theme.
Seems pretty tongue-in-cheek to me. It's clearly not because of watchdogs and they know that.
$35 on ps store right now.
Please ditch the engine
Gamestop should love switch as most people will still buy physical copies of games.
There are some crazy good black friday deals on xbox store. Witcher 3 complete edition $25. Mad Max $11.99.
****. Okay, I'll bite. Why on Earth would you enjoy a game, pass on the next one despite universal critical acclaim, and then be excited and ready to play the NEXT game, despite there only being an announcement?
I think $499 where Scorpio will end up. They're revamping everything in the system and it's going to actually show, unlike the other console 'upgrade' we've seen where games can sometimes run worse than the non upgraded system.
@Errorist76
It's also due to the PS4's CPU showing it's age and not being able to handle alpha effects and bottlenecking whatever improvements they made with the GPU. No amount of GPU upgrading will...
With Phil's response, yes, it will be more than $399. This was Phil's way of explaining WHY it'll be more than $399 without saying it will be more than $399.
This is classic nintendo.
As if head of Nvidia is going to say "I mean it's pretty **** hardware, but it's money for us so it's whatever."
Something interesting I noticed when I went back to it: I didn't even touch on the stuff in the update, really, yet I somehow sunk several more hours into it. There's something at this game's core that's just fascinating when It comes to exploring planets. With updates coming down the pipeline I look forward to them expanding on the core game and this time keeping me around for longer.
