I'm not sure if US version is the same, but Demon's Souls 2 has DS1 on it for free, at least in Japan. You might want to save a few bucks and get both.
FYI All: This is what the article is referring to.

It's still a Reach (LOL), but at least there sort of was a point.
"I'm curious to see how this turns out without...Mr. Sunglasses."
Without him, I'm not sure if this franchise is Dead... or Alive...

From source:
"It's a multiplatform hack-and-slash title, blending elements of Eastern mythology and religion, including a giant Buddha in space."
Yes - the God of War series are hack-and-slash titles blending elements of Greek mythology and religion, including a 1,000 foot tall Zeus on Mt. Olympus.
Do you see the similarity?
"This comment wins. Most logical thing I've read all day."
The major problem with this comment is that Sasanova has neither bought nor played the game, yet goes on to state that it not only deserves a 8.5-8.9, but that "it's the same exact game from halo 3, with few adjustments" (his words). Not only is this an unqualified opinion, but the comparison to Halo 3 is flat-out wrong.
This is not logical whatsoever - it's the sam...
What would you have MS do then - say: "There is not much bigger than Halo"? That sounds wimpy.
I'm pretty sure that what they are saying is that no other game inspires masses (yes, masses) of people for midnight launches, causes gamers to take sick days from work and school to play, and has people talking about it and playing it for years and in great numbers.
It's Halo dude.
I had to reread your comment like 6 times to understand it. It was funny and pleasing when I did! :)
I was pleasantly surprised with the first game. Hopefully, the second brings back all of the stuff that I loved and brings in new awesomeness.
I'm going to buy RB3, but only for the new engine and the fact that future DLC requires it. The setlist is not very cool IMO
"This could be considered hypocritical as I dl music and movies.
However as I watch lots of movies in theaters and buy (really really) good films on bluray. Plus buy albums when I can. I feel I'm exempt.
This is quite possibly one of the worst justifications for breaking the law that I have ever heard and is a sad reminder of people's disregard for both piracy laws and laws in general. What if we used this same mentally to justify other crimes?
Sure, you can access YouTube and web-based email through your PS3 browser, but there certainly isn't a standalone app for either on the platform. To call it catch up is misleading.
This is a cool feature whatever the case may be.
The only thing that COULD be overrated is the multiplayer. It was fun, but didn't really last for me.
Single player is a different story - it's in my top 3 of all-time single player games.
This grasps at straws.
L4D 1 and 2 were both extremely satisfying experiences in their own right. The people who whined about 2 being an expansion pack were just haters, for lack of a better word. And even if it WERE an expansion pack, I put over 200 hours in it. I got my money's worth.
All of that being said, if they're going to do it on PS3, they need to be packaged together AND at a discount. You can't sell 1 and 2 year old games at full price and expect people to be happy about it...
Playstation Move + Microsoft Kinect = Gathering dust this time next year
Technologically cool fads are still fads. I'm not even sure if either will catch on, and I REALLY hope that there aren't games that I want to play that require their use. It's all about marketing and word of mouth, and in this case, Microsoft seems to be pushing their motion control harder than Sony and have more people talking about it.
I ultimately don't care because I...
Agreed on gamers loving our toys!
The major obstacle that 3-D faces is the requirement of wearing glasses. This prevents early adoption for the non-hardcore IMO. The prices aren't really that bad compared to what HDTV was when it first came out. Once they iron out any glitches and make sure that everything from SD to 3-D runs fine, there really won't be a reason not to go 3-D even if you don't really intend to use it. It'll kinda be there if you want it, but...
Raztad got called a troll in this particular article! BWAHAHAHA!!!
First off, he's a solid PS3 fan. I won't say fanboy, although his allegiences are unquestioned.
Second, he's on my PSN friends list and I've SEEN HIM PLAY MGS!!! How the hell could he possibly troll this article?
People throw "troll" and "fanboy" around way too easily (and frequently at those who aren't anything of the sort).
Alan Wake, Gran Turismo 5, Splinter Cell: Conviction and Alone in the Dark say hi.
Delays aren't specific to a developer or console. They just happen.
I love when devs use proprietary engines. It presents the opportunity to push the envelope rather than be limited by third-party architecture. I mean, great games are great games, but I've think that when you actually create something from the VERY ground up, more of your soul is in it, and hence, you are more likely to produce something great.
I was hoping to see more of L.A. Noire at E3. Info has been non-existent since the 20 million page script (LOL) and the Game Informer article. I'm really hoping this game does what they're saying it's going to do.
Heh - I got Rock Revolution on PS3 Blu-Ray for $4.99. Terrible game, but still.
"but MS
brought up their numbers using promotion and ads. and they make it seems like their game is better than others because they sold more."
Their game sold a lot because IT IS better than a lot of others.
Just because something is hyped or overhyped doesn't mean that it isn't amazing or at least pretty damned good.
