I would like servers that require microphones. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to be on teams that don't communicate.
The Meerkat is quite correct. It all started back when timed-exclusive DLC was announced for COD on 360. After that, the PS3 fanboys (not regular PS3 gamers, but straight-up fanboys) denounced the game and Activision in general and put support behind the EA versions.
Case in point: when that turd of a game Medal of Honor was shown at Sony's E3 presser and had exclusive DLC announced, PS3 fanboys on here went nuts, calling it a COD-killer, God's gift to gamers etc. We ...

You can't exactly grenade somebody sitting on a hill 100 meters away in a position that you can't shoot at.
Games these days (like the "Souls Games") are hard, but there is nothing this generation that was the nightmare of old school Nintendo games.
I dare anyone to try beating Contra without using the Konami code. Or Smash TV without unlimited continues. They can be done, but you have to be REALLY good and that still doesn't mean that you will.

It's quite a tedious process if you have a lot of DLC and downloadable games, but it works.
It's hard to overhype the sequel to one of the best games ever made. Uncharted 2 was not only one of the definitive experiences in gaming, but entertainment as a whole.

How would cutting out the platform that will arguably account for most (or at least tie for most) of BF3's sales make it sell better? That just makes no sense.
My problem with the Sawed-Off is that it encourages a (pardon the expression) b*tch style of play - run in, shoot, dive away/wall bounce while reloading, repeat. That is literally what half of players on Gears do and it's kind of against the spirit of the game IMO
Honestly, I hope that the next XBOX and Playstation (and maybe even Wii U) come out at approximately the same time so I don't have to read 5+ years of the "your console is only ahead in sales because it had a year head-start" argument on N4G. In fact, make them literally the same machine but with a different logo (although fanboys could probably get a good run by using that as a point of contention).

Also, if your 360 has that much dust on it, you're a lazy and/or dirty person who doesn't take pride in their possessions. Try wiping it off.

Hell - after the Gears beta they even added an extra half of the map "Trenches", which is something they could have only done by releasing a beta well before the actual launch.
The "it's a beta" argument goes both ways. Sure, it's not the finished product, but then again, the finished product isn't going to be a dramatic departure - especially with so little time until launch. The complaints being heard are glitches/bugs...

Quake revolutionized online gaming, turned first person shooters into three dimensional affairs, and is still played to this day by rabid fans.
Calling it merely good is almost insulting.
I do agree with his point that the game hasn't been as special as it was since the first. Many games get better (or at least add new features) but Katamari games really can't say this.
I loved the first - one of my favorite games of the PS2 era. But like Tetris, one is really all you need.
The ultimate irony is that Team Fortress 2 is free to play, no online pass required either.
I think that instead of remakes and remasters, developers should focus on making new, QUALITY titles. FFVII had it's time. Let's get something new and good out there.
