The COD DLC does not belong on the list. $15 for 5 maps is fine. And it's completely optional.
@MikeCosgrove
BUT if it becomes FFXV, maybe it goes multiplayform on next-gen consoles. At that point, the disparity between 360's and PS3's storage mediums would be null, considering DVD will obviously no longer be a factor.
IMO the only reason that there was any hype over this game was because of its PS3 exclusivity - and that was (obviously) coming from the PS3-only crowd. But in reality, it doesn't matter what console you make games for - if they're not good, they're not good. And Square hasn't been on par for a very long time. And there was nothing in any of the previews that looked like VS would have been life-changing or anything.
Sad that they may cancel it, but no sadder t...
If I wanted to game on a PC, I'd buy a gaming PC. We all know how the Sega 32X turned out.
I don't think the FTC would ban a Sony to Microsoft sale, simply because Nintendo is a large player and Sony is a Japanese company.
If MS bought Activision, it might actually make sense to continue allowing them to publish on a multiplatform level. COD sells a ton on Playstation, and there are many Sony supporters who wouldn't buy a Microsoft console just for COD. They could simply continue exclusive or timed-exclusive DLC on their XBOX consoles.
The opening and Poseidon battle in God of War 3 for me. The sheer awesomeness and scope of that has not been matched by any game yet IMO. It's not just about the graphics either - it's about perfect design and ingenious pacing/crazy moments.
^^^^^This times 1000
Now we can be called racially homophobic slurs on the go!
IMO, only numbers 1-3 belong on that list.
Actually Halo and Gears sell well because they are established and beloved franchises with millions of fans and a diehard core community.
Plus they're great games.
Is anyone else baffled by the curious wording in the pictures?
"The Master Chief is back"
"Halo is Blockbuster"
It's like it was translated from English to a foreign language and then back again.
So basically because the Japanese don't download as often as Americans do. I guess that makes sense, although I was hoping for a disc-based version with bonus features (like an art of Okamu thing).
No Robbaz?
The main problem for me is the discoloration. Everything looks a little darker. Nothing is as vibrant as it should be.
You can't really put in a traditional player-controlled camera, as God of War uses the right analog stick to dodge. Changing that would disrupt the feel of the game.
Counterexample:
Guy 1 (Maserati): I won because I am prettier and got there faster.
Guy 2 (Honda): Oh yeah, well I got to same place that you did while spending 125,000 dollars less and getting 30 more miles per gallon. Plus I'm not bad looking.
Perfect sense.
Yes, Kinect owes much to the Playstation Eye.
But that changes nothing in regards to my original comment. You claimed plagiarism, and did not deny a counterclaim. So what was your point again?
Well naturally, since Microsoft couldn't come up with such refreshingly original ideas as Playstation All Stars, the Move, and Trophies like Sony did.
I play 360 with PC connection and PS3 with HDMI and have no lag problems whatsoever, in rhythm games or otherwise.
