This interview told us abosollutely nothing.
They kept asking for this guys opinion on something. But he refused to give it. On anything! The idea behind interviewing people high up in the videogames industry is to get a perspective the average person couldn't give. But anyone could have given that interview.
We should have just asked the same quetions to Percy PR Average!!
All the comments seemed fair and with this they obviously have the advatage of showing video to back it up.
I did have to laugh at that "invisible mode" though.
They certainly live up to their name!!!
FAKE!! Since when does Europe get anything before anyone? I think I would pass out with amazement if this were to happen. The best Europeans can ever hope for is a simultaneous release.
How can a game have some negative points and still be a perfect 10??? "Perfect", no flaws, no bad bits nothing to bring the score down...
Saying the exact colour of the bikini is quite specifc......
"When I play a game I want to feel like I’m a Jedi, not like I’m some kind of imbecile who just keeps on stabbing stuff in the guts. You’re not going to be able to fight with style because you won’t know how to put the moves together. There’s always got to be some sort of interface between what you’re doing and how the character’s making you feel cool. "
I think the simplest way around this would be to have a training mode where they teach some cool looking (and effec...
But it does seem like it is a fairly unique case. Assumuning it is true.....I would go for the faulty batch reasoning.
I think making the distinction between games an reallity is easy. It is how you view reallity because of the games that can become tainted.
This game is designed to be essentially good "fun". The players are meant to get "excited" and "enjoy" playing a game which involves shooting, explosions and missions. This is all very thrilling from a players point of view.
But would we describe real war as that? War is hard, it's brutal and whe...
I thought it would be dull but it really does look kinda of fun and innovative.
But really, how many are they actually expecting to sell? How many kinds of people is this really going to appeal to? I don't think normal trading cards games really do that well in the average household (no I don't have trading card games sells stats links) so I am not sure that this is going to be different.
this is one of the first times I have ever forgotten that I was actually watching a game! The voice acting is up there with the best of them. Combine that with the great graphics and the experience is adventure movie all the way.......only......more imersive because its a game!
does anyone know when the US or european english versions are due to be released?
I remember having hours of fun playing games with my mates......and guess what they were right in the same room!! GASP!!! Playing online is ok but it in no way compares to the general competitive fun of racing with your mates sitting next to you. Just my thoughts......
but final fantasy XII was rubbish. Music was alright, presentation was great but the plot was horribly dull and linear. No character developement or back story. Just left me really not caring about the characters.
The environmenst look good.
But they are static, no movement or interest.
The water surface looks good but the ripples and especially the splashes look rubbish.
Overall the graphics look good but I can't help but get the feeling there is still something missing; something to change teh graphics from good to great!
The production value (music, graphics and overall presentation) was as good as all the FF but for me it was the plot that let it down. There next no character developement, hardly any charater back plot and the little imagination on the mini games (little games for the main quest as well as side games)except the one where you have to match people together in Archades (I liked that). I just found that I was just running from place to place battling and nothing more (at least the FF7 and FF8 tr...
but I actually agree with the ban.
A game like this (although I haven't played it) actually centres it's main selling feature around violence. Let's be fair, it isn't around plot or, from what I have seen, graphics. So maybe you could question why people would think that it is such great fun to maime and kill things? I mean why is it those things that give these people a kick?
From the governments and BBFC's point of view a blanket ban is the only way to ensure...
Is that really in game graphics?
If it's a FPS the "spceific consoles" will mean the 360. Just a guess but i am probably right, plus this is supported by the relatively easy pc/360 cross developent.
6 million for the year or 1.32 million for the last quarter like the article says?
