True, but I find it to be one of the best FPS's of this gen.
Indeed. It's refreshing to see examples of mid-tier/low-tier titles reminding us that art design trumps polygons every time.
I suppose now would be the best time to stress the "some" part since I've seen/heard quite a few responses like your own.
"That said I'm happy we get more star trek."
Oh absolutely. I certainly can't dog him for taking the initiative and being essentially THE guy to revive the series and bring a new flock of fans in--and I think he's pretty solid at the technical side of film-making. The only thing I can't stand is ho...
Oh snap! :P
Strangely enough, I was going back and forth about mentioning Into Darkness in the back of my head before posting initial comment.
I think some Trekkies are still hurt from the rebooted series morphing a once-intelligent, focused sci-fi series into another bunch of popcorn-munching action flicks; so I guess "what goes around, comes around" could apply here.
It's been a while since I've played or even thought about Snowboard Kids.
Although there was an emptiness to the adventuring aspect, I thought that combat mechanics were pretty inventive.
For what it's worth, I hope your game turns out to be something mind-blowing and brings you financial success. It's great to see you're still powering through even with the stigma of being a game designer can sometimes bring with it.

There's something about 1 that'll always make it my favorite, warts and all.
C'mon...I think most would categorize Star Wars (Ep. IV) as more than "good."
Ran into that problem trying to buy some DLC/On Demand games this morning.
Sheesh...another game to add to my shopping cart.
Out of the two I've played that are mentioned in the list (Enslaved and Brink), I'm actually surprised they even received their average scores.
One of the privileges of being a mod. :)
"Speaking to Xbox executives is akin to interviewing politicans."
I got a good, short chuckle from seeing that as the primer to article.
Author misspelled politicians though. :P
For those interested in Journey Collector's:
There's a 'should ship within 1-4 weeks' notice posted from them after placing my order (subject to change, of course).
Although I'm excited to finally try out Journey, I'm curious to see thatgame's pre-flOw stuff that's been said to be included.
Sure, filming police is legal. But pulling over, cranking up the music in your car with the windows down, and deciding to film police near the vicinity of an active armed robbery response because reasons can pin you with an obstruction of justice charge.
Hmmm...I've never seen/heard why using a corrupter or anything else would discount them as being considered a "glitch." I've always figured the term is sort of all-encompassing to describe a slight technical problem (either discovered by accident or exploited by messing with the game).
Anyways, here's this fun vid:

-When it comes to what inspired this whole thing (one of the PA guys saying that pulling said joke and it's apparel was a mistake), I'm kind of surprised that's cropped such a response since it was just playing with the silly name-game designers use for MMO's or regular RPG's (girtheagle, tonguehawk, etc).
-"Rape Culture is a myth people. It was created by feminists to further their agenda of creating a matriarchy and making men look evil, which is wh...
"Don't worry though, I'll ease up on the blogposts to give some room for others."
I've honestly never found that nice route to really help community members--outside of just handing one a $50 prize pack. I remember getting a bad remark or two about consistent wins over a year ago when there was only one prize per user-submission category (blog or review). Although I'm sometimes on/off in putting in my submissions, something must have changed or I...
They were all over the place initially with reports even going so far as saying 300+ million. The final say seems to be $200 million.
