Indeed. To be honest, I've actually been rather impressed Rare's offerings that I've had a chance to play. I consider both PDZ and Kameo to be great for their time.
They're definitely not as great as they used to be, but who could honestly keep up with a record such as golden as that 1990-2000 season?
-Perfect Dark Zero, Heavenly Sword, RAGE
-Haze and Lair
Those five titles had at least one defining aspect to them that will make me never forget them--for better or worse.
I remember that first batch: character model close-ups, animations of him dodging creatures near a lighthouse, etc.
None of those look as good as what's been shown for Quantum.
I feel bad that I have yet to pick up Rayman Origins or Legends. Sorry, Ubi. :(
Actually, Ubi seemed quite pleased with Conviction's sales at the time (considering the limited platforms it released on).

Got this sucker on my wish list now.
Nope. It's $49.99
:P
I'm sure there were a few that didn't like it, but the majority of critics did in fact praise the heck out of it.

Most critics were over the moon about Shenmue 1 + 2 back in the day (and now).
No, more likely to accept rape myths.
"Bailenson and Fox folded rape myths such as "in the majority of rapes, the victim is promiscuous or has a bad reputation" into the questionnaire. Participants rated how much they agreed or disagreed with the statements..." etc.
Most have decided to file my HAVA takeover as "not an issue."

To be honest, I think Kingdom Come has a point. It's still your choice at the end of the day, but I've found those back-and-forth decisions in changing the score after it's been approved here typically confuses your audience; not just for those who've seen the original score but the confusion that occurs when others look at the user score average to the left and see it doesn't match up (though eventually it seems to adapt to changes eventually).
I remembe...
I've essentially scarred my best friend by constantly humming the anachronistic Ride to Hell theme song after he played it and kindly gave it back to me after 15 minutes of playing. :P
BOOSH!
There was really only way to go but up after BF3's campaign. It's probably the most unsettling modern-military shooter due to overwhelming seriousness about practically everything, despite typically lacking any context, and it was mechanically different from the MP in almost every way so the "glorified tutorial" CoD's campaigns seem to get (which I say isn't really fair) can't apply here.
It's the worst of both worlds.
"my initial thought was that I got a comment ban for a sarcastic remark or something."
We only do that for one certain user. :P
I still haven't jumped into this one outside of one 'tomb raid' and healthy portion of the beginning with a friend, but it looks pretty fun. I'd like to try a back-to-back playthrough of Tomb Raider Anniversary and the reboot to have a direct compare+contrast between them in the near future.
The thing to remember is 'heavily' isn't the only option in promoting an indie title. There 's certainly low-cost, smart ways to get that name out to the public.
It may not be an indie example but Extra Credits' 'sweded' history episodes over the First and Second Punic Wars was a fantastic way for Creative Assembly to market TW: Rome II (shame the game's launch apparently stunk).
Congratulations in advance to Mezzo getting...not placed in October's (or future) n4g Contributor Contest. [o_o]~

Happy blogging/reviewing/etc., all.
Whenever I see this pop up, I can't help but wonder if others understand what Chick's scores actually mean on there.
All those games listed above just mean this:
-He absolutely hated Halo 4 and PSBR
-He didn't like Forza 4, MvsC 3, and Journey
That's it.
