2 still has the most in depth and intricate combat in the series! the way plasmids did actual different things when they leveled up, how you could pick up frozen enemies no matter how big, the rocket spears, combining plasmids. that game is damn well made in terms of combat, not so much story.
i think 2 is very underrated personally.
console power (lolwut)
reliability (original xbox and ps2 had negligible failure rate difference)
graphical capability (orignal xbox was miles ahead of ps2 in terms of graphical ability.)

to be honest i kind of wish the game hadn't come out, or at least hadnt related to the first game in the way it did. the tangential timeline mess really lessens the impact of the events of the other games, makes them almost trivial in the sense that they are impermanent.
it also invited this ever speculating fanbase that will believe any slapped together nonsensical theory (songbird in bioshock 1!!1!) no matter how much evidence points against it.

That is a very interesting perspective. When i was considering a ps4 at launch i didnt plan on getting any games with it because so many top notch free to play games would be available.
To be honest i doubt many people will be making a choice between the two (mario and an xbox one/ps4) but it will be interesting to see the sales.
Lol funny how good wii u articles get no attention while everyone flocks to the doomsaying articles. I feel like people want their pessimistic mindsets to be reflected in what they read, and would rather keep that mindset then see it proven wrong. This goes for both wii u and vita doomsayers.

Im not implying the wii u is more capable of 1080p, im implying the xbox one's devs are either lazy or dont see any difference in 900p vs 1080p
I dont get it, the freaking wii u has more confirmed 1080p native games than xbox one. Bayonetta 2 and mario kart 8 and smash bros 4, all run in 1080p AND 60 fps, and given that they look a helluva lot better than ryse.

The thing is bayonetta 2 is 1080p native, as well as 60 fps. Thats pretty impressive that in its first few years the wii u can run latter day ps3/360 graphics at higher resolution.

Lol as if all nintendo fans ONLY buy their systems. Usually a nintendo system combined with a sony system is the way to go, and wii u will be the perfect secondary system like the wii was
I think vita will be fine but definitely not because of the vita tv. I mean japan is so focused on handhelds, if the handheld isnt selling why would one pinned to a tv fare much better?
I know the pre orders sold out quick, but i doubt they had a bunch planned for the first print, and i doubt many people beyond collectors bought it.
Lol the wii u discs ARE blu-ray discs, they just have an extra ring inside them that is assumed to prevent piracy. also, blu ray discs only hold 25 gb unless they are dual layered, bumping them to 50. so the wii u can have 50gb games as it uses basically the same format.( http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
