Actually it implies they arent aware of pc or current gen pre-orders.
If you have doubts swap it for killzone and get it after you KNOW you want it or not.
My main concern with the rumor is the atrocious name, and does nintemdo evem have 7 n64 games that would warrant a remake? Ocarina of time, star fox and mario 64 already had remakes not long ago. I cant think of 7 other games, really.
I own a 360, and bought bf3 on there too. I'm not buying a next gen console until next year. Why would i spend 60 bucks on the worst version of bf4, and why would i pre order it for a console i won't own until at least a year.

Personally sunshine is my favorite. i like the way they took mario to a whole new theme and had new enemies and everything felt fresh. think about it... sunshine didn't have ONE goomba.
whereas 64 hasnt aged very well and the galaxy games featured very little exploration and felt too linear.

Yeah, along with narrative twists there could be levels where youre split between 2 universes and ones on the gamepad and ones on the tv. Some would feature little minute differences like a hole in the wall with a collectible in it that isnt on the other screen. Some would be drastically different. This wouldnt limit the game to one gimmick like anti gravity in galaxy. It could even have cameos from other series that would make sense in context (canned idea in galaxy 2).

I would rather see this Super Mario Multiverse (i can actually see this now that i mention it) or whatever being released near the end of the wii us lifespan. Partly to make better use of the hardware, but also to numb the influx of mario games.
Why would a company care about policies made over 20 years ago? The companies that were even relevant back then (capcom, atlus, ubisoft, sega, sqare, disney, activision) are all still on board releasing games for the wii u.
Why SHOULD nintendo care if third party games sell? They dont need to advertise someone elses game, thats the publishers job. They do enough advertising the game on nintendo directs and the eshop. If they dont sell, maybe they shouldnt half ass ports of month old ...
Dominate the market? The gamecube and n64 were far from dominating anything. The wii was the exception to a 20 year downward slope in sales.

Are you referring to the wii remote? I dont think nintendo intended for 1:1 motion tracking when they conceptualized that remote... that's why they made the wiimotion plus.

its also available in all markets whereas ps4 and xbox one wont be in japan (and other places for xbone) until next year.

sony cant sell 4 million consoles by new years, they'd have trouble producing that many.
that would be more than the ps2 and ps3 combined. and the ps2 came out when the only competition was the dying dreamcast. even though the wii u and xbox one aren't nearly as hyped, they are both still considerable competitors with the xbox one still having a decent percentage of preorders in the US and europe.

how is looking down at the VMU and seeing your health annoying? why else would you look at your controller? that was one of the coolest things about the dreamcast.
But why would we want hd remakes of mario kart 64 or smash bros? They would no doubt butcher the driving/fighting mechanics, and theres improved installments in those series anyway. Id rather see them keep the old graphics and add online.
Majoras mask is a given, but paper mario also doesnt need to be remade, its art style is still being used to this day. All of rare's series belong to MS now, and in the past legal issues arose over goldeneye.
