i dont care where it lays on this invisible spectrum, all i know is it's a kickass system ;D
Personally i think anyone who thought niche games like pikmin or w101 would sell systems are very over optimistic. Same with a remake of windwaker. I still maintain nintendo has yet to release a system seller on wii u. The little boosts with pikmin 3 and now this came as a surprise to me.
If you like bayonetta get the wonderful 101, same director and developer. Also try pikmin 3
what? they aren't digital only. not even close >_>
For the sake of not pissing off the precious retailers.*
although they had an excellent deal with SMT IV and FE:A where you bought both and got 30 bucks of credit for free. that was a great promotion and i bought a game i wouldn't have otherwise bought (and enjoyed it)
We buy good games. I was all ready to buy this until it sucked :/. Bought the excellent deus ex port instead, though the price is what's holding people back on that one.
it's pretty good. i'm surprised they got away with such deep religious undertones for a nintendo exclusive, especially after nintendo refused binding of isaac for the same reasons.
Well me personally, i'll wait until the game comes out until i say it wont ever beat SMG. Because i've never been a fan of galaxy in the first place, it felt too linear to me. This is linear too, but at least its cooperative.
"Nothing fully wrong with it but I wish people would just admit it."
I really don't like when people determine their opinion as fact. Perhaps people "won't admit it", because they genuinely are wowed by the first multip...
yes you can
its worth it too so you can button map everything
i thought these guys were closed years ago?
Why do you have to turn Yoshida answering a question into something about fanboys?
it was a joke, he knew peggle was lame.
just like riiiiiidge racer may or may not have been a joke.
it better be, this game is years old now...
The NES had less than 3 million sold in it's first year. The virtual boy had less than a million lifetime. i imagine they assumed the gamecube was the worst selling first year for a nintendo system at 4.6 in it's first year, which the wii u probably won't hit by it's first year.
Poor quality article but that doesn't make this any less concerning.
the wii u is in a position where i honestly can't judge the interest in the system. right now there is NO original mario title, no zelda, no mario kart, no smash bros, all they have is a sequel to a niche series from the gamecube (pikmin 3) and a remake of windwaker.
*use no tv ads
Good grief, he's in sports, party games, and pretty much everything else.
how about putting the effort going into anything but a 3d mario towards a more obscure IP...
No, their projections are always over optimistic. I think even their 3ds goals were a bit high at 45 million i believe? and that's the best selling system on the market.
The xbox 360 failure rate was nowhere near that high past the first 2 years.
You do realize that sony isn't jesus right? Hardware issues, network issues, and other problems are a given with new launches, especially as these things become more complex.
There is no particular "fate" in sight, good or bad. Before people bring up the 3ds, im talking purely home consoles.
Simply put, the company has been in this position before and they've always come back, so i'm reluctant to assume anything about the company's future.
