My problem is the prices. 8 bucks for a snes game vs 6 for ps1 game on psn.

hey man nothing wrong with having an opinion, im holding off on a ps4 til next year personally because my hands will be full enough with wii u games and nothing on the other systems has me too intrigued at launch.

From what Aonuma has been saying about it, it seems promising. That's what i mean. It looks to be a return to form after the linear SS.
no reason they wouldn't, though both come out the same day so dont be surprised if you cant beat the day 1 nintendo crowd after this game.

i'm usually considered one of the more vocal nintendo fans when it comes to the choices they make, and they can make bad ones. i am not reaching to defend nintendo at all, i'm using evidence. also, you go to any respective section of this website and there will ALWAYS be a group of loyalists who think their company can do no wrong, that is not exclusive to the wii u section at all.

the reason sunshine and 64 are so long is mainly the repeated worlds and occasionally laborious missions. also 64 required a ton of stars to beat the game, the others not so much. galaxy required like 60 stars which is nothing, that's half the game. for all we know this game is much bigger and these people took the quickest way out. like 3d land there's probably a second set of 8 worlds which are more challenging and thus take an additional 8+ hours. maybe i'm wrong and this game ...
killer instinct is clearly a budget title, it only costs 40 bucks. i wouldn't expect the highest production values.
yeah, let sony LITERALLY monopolize the industry, surely they won't pull anything tricky then. When they near monopolized the the industry with the ps1 they took to using anti developer architectures to make it harder to port to competitor's systems on the ps2 and ps3. the ps4 is a different story, but if they dominate like it looks, who knows what the ps5 will be about. Hopefully not like the ps3.

They didnt make it to brag that theyre better than the wii, just to make people realize these are 2 completely different systems which is still an issue.
basically its just a giant DS, the controller has a built in touchscreen for you to sift through inventory without pausing the game and breaking immersion, or you can use it to scan stuff, or it can just give you a secondary view of a situation (overhead view, rear view) to enhance gameplay. but you can also play games exclusively on the screen when someone else is using the TV (or you need to go to the bathroom but SIMPLY CANT STOP PLAYING).

its confirmed 720p. No big deal, game still looks great. i imagine they kept it at 720p to get the download size as low as 2 GB so that more people would buy it online

People act like these companies care about the petty console race... they just want to make their money back, and then some. That's why they consider the last place Gamecube successful, they made money off it.
I doubt microsoft considers the 360 a failure because it was behind the ps3 and wii, because they made money and exposed people to the brand.
