Ummm shadow, eggman, metal sonic, every sonic villain ever are better than the deadly 6. They literally consist of stereotypes.
The stories for the past few games were at least cohesive and clear, lost world introduces a freaking new planet and then says nothing about it.
It would control perfectly on wii u. If it was trauma center would come to 3ds though.

in my opinion its horribly mishandled with the wisp powers completely unaccounted for, filled with terrible villains and a bad story. the controls are loose and the game slows to a crawl way too much. it feels like a mario galaxy wanna-be if i'm honest. even the soundtrack, the one thing in every sonic game i can always assume to be great, was forgettable. i got my money back after i spent a week trying to like it. got deus ex inst...

famitsu gave resident evil 6 a 39/40.
i wanted to trust them on their sonic lost world review (36/40) and that game was terrible.
i dont think famitsu's been anywhere near trustworthy for a long time.
I see what you're saying, youre right. I just fail to express the sort of blasé im feeling towards the other next gen consoles. Sometimes i just need to play some mario kart and experience raw, unrefined fun i guess ;)
I was by no means a trend follower, i played some cod and battlefield and pretty much had my share after about 1 game for each respectively. Most of my favorite games last gen are niche titles that unfortunately dont sell.

Like i said there are exceptions, and im not saying i just want kiddie games. I just want games that will be remembered and cherished ten years from now, stuff like deus ex HR, catherine, deadly premonition, dark souls, vanquish, or bioshock.
I feel like devs were chasing after money this gen more than any other. A lot of potentially great games were ruined because of this.
I see where hes coming from, the wii u will be a big diversion for me because i didnt play my wii much and was primarily a 360 gamer last gen.
Needless to say i got sick of all the fps crap coming out that managed to thrive and looks to be returning next gen. Im not saying thats all there was last gen, there were bayonetta's and catherines hidden in the catalogue, but i still would like to take a break from the sony and MS consoles.
You have veeeery specific tastes to ignore everything but mario in the first year of the wii u lol

When 3rd party games are late ports, gimped ports or overpriced ports... why would you buy them.
Rayman legends sold comparitively well, in some reports better on wii u than the other platforms. Zombi u sold 600,00 copies, i dont know how it wasnt profitable considering the game was hardly big budget.
Sonic all stars racing transformed sold best on wii u.
Otherwise there are no 3rd party titles WORTH buying.
The gamecube got great sales on good 3rd party games...

This is the case with every console ever. It's no different with wii u. When theres NO games out, no one will buy it. When the big titles come out the system will sell. Even the whole core nintendo fan argument is flawed, i doubt the wii invited NO additional fans onboard. Look at the sales of 1st party nintendo stuff compared to the gamecube, although the percentage is lower, sales increased across the board.
Wow im glad i didnt pre order the ps4, this and killzone were my hyped games but they dont seem to have much going on. Ps4 will have great games by the time i get one next year
Gamespot is sooo far from biased. They gave B2S 9/10. They have given big titles from nintendo meh scores too.
They're just more harsh than most sites, in my opinion a good thing.

Im willing to bet if MS dropped out (not saying they will or i want them to) nintendo would return to a competitive console in terms of hardware. I think the wii and wii u were a response to the disappointing sales of the n64 and gamecube, 2 systems that didnt try much different, whereas the wii and wii u are radically different.

I remember conker's BFD ran at a worse resolution than most n64 games, but is unanimously considered the best looking n64 game. Back when people didnt give a crap about resolution as long as it wasnt detrimental to the game.

I have 20/20 vision, i cannot tell the difference between 900p and 1080p. If downscaling it to 900p keeps the framerate up and allows more effects and such, i'm fine with it being 900p upscaled.
