I may have asked them why Xbox one is £80 more than their next competitor. Make no mistake, this isn't a troll question just a genuine one, why they think their machine is worth that amount more.
Gotta justify it somehow, not really sure if Kinect is that £80 value for me and being outside the USA, whether any of the media stuff they talked about would actually fly here in the UK cos I suspect it won't.

Battlefield 4 confirmed as native 1080p on both consoles?
That's news to me. In fact all we have heard is unconfirmed reports that it would be 720p. When they say it'll actually be 1080p native on both machines come back please?

I seen the specs of the machines as well now and I am right. PS4 is much faster. The footage here just bore that out for me.

Xbox one is not a 'power first' machine. Clearly it aint, they are going for their integration thing with Kinect. The machine is somewhere between Xbox 360 and PS4 in performance.

Xbox one is certainly quite a bit slower than PS4. I watched it all, and its a step above 360 and PS4, but PS4 is faster and by quite some way too. I guarantee that right now.
This looks good, but to be honest, there is absolutely nothing in there I didn't see done as well (or better) in older PC games like Battlefield 3 or the earlier Crysis games. I didn't go WOW!

Not fantastic scenery or people models there. Looks great in some shots, and then not at all next gen in others like this one. Although the cars matter more.
Looks like it'll be one of those early titles that have some promise but might run out of time to polish to the level of games we'll see after a year or so and thus date quit...
Well not much more I wouldn't expect. The game is already using 3Gb of memory for video as outlined by the technical paper. It seems this was the target they were aiming for knowing their expected system memory use and OS overheads for the rest of the 8Gb.
I wouldn't expect many games to use much more than this solely for video, its already in the ball park.

Brute force essentially wins in PC no matter what tricks you try on consoles. Within a couple years of the machine launching it will be hopelessly outgunned by mere midrange PC hardware. Its not a troll question at all. Is Kinect really worth the £80 in hardware? The machine itself is clearly not as well specced as PS4 or as expensive to make, lets face it the memory is cheaper for one thing so the actual cost of the box is surely less and worth less in pure hardware terms than PS4.
