I would like to see players develop better skill stars or footedness if their abilities greatly improvement as say career mode goes on.
Now that's not to say every player can do better tricks or even rely on one foot less as they improve but many do.
About 18 months ago when the 7970 and GTX680 were released.
Whether the difference is significant or not, its been outshined.
When you are talking about games like Battlefield 4 not even being native 1080p on consoles that aren't even out yet then its safe to say its been outshined already because existing PC hardware can surely do native 1080p.
Such a small OC will have virtually no impact on the way the games run. Most games these days are so GPU bound. Meaning you are far better off spending £££ on your graphics chip than on your CPU you'll gain far more in games
He is great but even so 89 seems high. Maybe 87.
Problem with these stats sometimes is that players that actually aren't that fantastic move to a big club and then get an artificial boost to their stats just because they are at a big club.
Bit like Alexis Sanchez did when he got a transfer to Barca, he got a 7 point boost from 79 to 86 in one season, FIFA 11 to FIFA 12 just because he was now a Barca player.
But the past two seasons prov...
If you needed a next gen preview then you should have come played my PC 2 years ago LOL
Serious though, Sony first in North America where they need to gain ground, and Microsoft in Europe ditto.
Can't wait to see how they stack up against each other on multis
Without constantly advancing PC gaming technology none of these or the next consoles would even exist. Hooray for PC gamers leading the industry and pushing it on!
You know that PC guy yall called an elitist nerd? Well he just paid for a new part that'll allow companies to keep developing their technologies and improving them to eventually down the road put in a new console. Hug him.
I don't think its a coincidence Microsoft are now wanting to bundle different free games with Xbox one for launch.
Its a great move for the consumer, but I suspect its another reactionary move isn't it after looking at the pre order number comparisons versus main rival?
Sony don't seem to feel the need to do any sort of deal or bundle on PS4. I spose if you have such a hot demand then you don't need to as people will just pay up....
Drivatars were included in Forza on Xbox in 2005. The game attempted to copy how you drove. This just allows you to basically share that online.
We know plenty enough of these consoles there is no mystery whatsoever to anyone slightly technically informed PS4 is going to walk all over Xbone in terms of game performance as soon as the programmers get a grip on it after its first year.
Anyone that keeps denying it has their head in the dirt. Xbone is a media box with an considerably inferior GPU and inferior memory access. Microsoft wasted hundreds of millions of transistors on trying to structure the memory buses to co...
I don't understand why there are still questions marks or people saying Xbone is as fast as ps4 or its close. PS4 gaming hardware is just faster. End of story. Anyone that says otherwise is a liar and knows nothing about technology.
They can't hide it forever, don't forget that. Before the end of this year, less than 4 months now, the consoles will be out in the cold light of day. Microsoft cannot hide for much longer.
They have to go head to head with Sony's hardware on the very same games. Someone is going to come out with a bloody nose and I'll be sat there taking it all in.
I love watching the early blows of console life cycles as the manufacturers jostle for position...
I'm just here for that picture. Xbone looks massive sat next to PS4 lol
The architecture is a bit of a mish mash created simply because Microsoft didn't think they could use faster memory in the shape of GDDR5.
In that sense it is overly complicated and patched up to try and help the weakness using DDR3 was going to create for the machine, that is not enough memory bandwidth for serious graphics performance.
We have to remember that is the only reason this complicated memory architecture exists, NOT because it is better than ...
I think they are just working their way down to the 1DS (one direction special) which would certainly sell to the teen female market better
Agrees. Not a huge massive difference considering Xbox one is 8 years newer machinery. Which is a huge length of time for computing power. More rez like there should be but not exactly a giant leap. More in incremental improvement much like the Edge preview said.
Much larger leap from a last gen racer like project gotham 2 xbox and then project gotham 3 xbox 360. Or Forza 4 to Project Cars. The models you see in shots in that are the ones used in gameplay, but the ones you se...
Maybe but he is a buffoon but he is worth about 15 billion dollars with a private yacht the size of a frigate, a mathematical genius no less and has some of the greatest gifs and videos the internet has ever seen. He was only ever an employee of Microsoft, one of the few billionaires in the world that never actually founded the company that made him rich.
Not that bad of a failure then. He'll retire and enjoy himself.
Well I was playing the PC version last night which has DX11 tesselation as well as TXAA with HBAO+ none of which is available on console. HBAO+ in particular hugely improves the quality of the ambient occlusion shadows, rather important for a game like this. It is running 1920x1080 with a minimum vsynced framerate of about 65FPS and an average of about 80FPS.
This is more than twice the resolution of any of the consoles AND nearly 3 times their average framerate simultaneousl...
PS3's fancy new wacky hardware didnt make a jot of difference to pc gaming. Nobody ran out and bought a Nvidia graphics card just cos Nvidia was in PS3, nobody ran out to buy something else with a cell cpu or XDR memory in it because of PS3.
Nobody bought an IBM powerpc processor for use at home cos it was in 360, in fact Apple quickly ditched them and went to intel in their macs as those consoles arrived. Nobody put eDRAM on their gaming PC chips just because Ati used it...
APUs might be the norm for the majority of computers in 5 years but they still wont be the norm in pc systems built for games.
Two separate chips will always be faster than one APU for games. Nature of making these chips means their size is limited.
If you have one chip dedicated to do one task very well and another chip dedicated to do another task very well you wont be able to make a single chip large enough to match their combined efforts.

My phone can easily overlay video rofl at the guy who said PC can't do it with more hardware. It's not that difficult a thing to do. A cheap android box can do all that. Windows 95 pretty much had it down kid with everything since becoming more and more capable.
What do you think 'windows' means? Huge facepalm.
Microsoft's chip looks decently engineered for media like but not that impressive for games by 2013 PC standards. PS4 has the hard...
