First party: Parappa / Lammy / Tomba / Ape Escape
Third party: Klonoa / Megaman Legends 3 / Final Fantasy Tactics / Time Crisis
Did he get fired, or did he quit? Itagaki had issues with the president of Koei Tecmo for many years, he stuck around with them until he had enough of their BS. I remember reading that he was screwed over by management many times over and left the company.
Tecmo lied to him and published an incomplete version of DOA 2 for PS2. This is why a re-release called DOA 2: Hardcore was later released, since that was the version he was trying to make in the first place. There's ...
Funny you say that because an idiot above named "someone72" claims that it is "far more creative" than simple sequential numbering. He gave me a good chuckle with that comment.
Get a load of this guy, who cares about 'creative video game console naming schemes.'
Who wants creativity when it comes to console names? Everyone wants logical and simple. Sequential numbers are perfect for that, why change something that makes sense? Unless of course, you're not making any sense. Have you considered that yet?
I understand where you're coming from, but remember, Microsoft skipped Windows 9.
We went from Windows 8 to Windows 10, this is Microsoft's own form of 'logic'.
I don't consider the upgrade of One X a full 4, but just use it as an excuse (MS uses excuses all the time as the example above) just to reach parity with Sony and be done with the awful naming scheme once and for all.
The idea that Microsoft can't give their consoles a basic numbering just because Sony would be "one number ahead of them" is so silly. Seriously *no one in the world would care* if we had PS3 vs Xbox 2 back then. Everyone would know that Xbox 2 is "current" back then because its the only Xbox platform on store shelves!
Even worse, they had an opportunity to name their newest console "Xbox 5" but they didn't go for it.
Xbox - 1

I just found out about this game yesterday. Is it really that bad? Like game breaking glitches type of awful?
Looks like a low-end version of Splinter Cell.
Holy shit, that's a terrible list. Ugh, remind me to avoid this author going forward.
I knew it was going to be a Grizzo video! LOL.
Damn Jill!
What about Rygar? People liked the NES game a lot, and the PS2 reboot was actually an underrated hidden gem.
I doubt that it'll come back, but I'd be happy if it did!
And Gitaroo-Man would be amazing to see it return as well!
The bottom of the image states that it's coming out for other platforms as well. Currently being decided.
Ubisoft couldn't make a game as good as Death Stranding even if the livelihood of all their employees were on the line. So no worries about them being 'crucified' by reviewers / gamers.
When Phil Spencer took over as the 'Head of Xbox' back in 2014 Xbox die-hard fans said:
"Good games take time, just let them develop games for Xbox One."
This was said throughout the entire Xbox One lifespan, and MS released only a small handful of decent games, but it was mostly Halo, Gears, Forza the same 3 franchises they've always depended on. Most of their other games were duds.
Its been 6 years, and Xbox fans...
One system has an exciting future filled with potential.
The other system is an Xbox One X upgrade.
Higher resolutions and framerates are fantastic, but that can't be all you've got to offer. We know Sony first party is going to deliver some bangers over the next 7 years, and so PS5 is selling out.
I've played every AC game except for this one. After Origins sucked hard (yes I beat it 100%) and Odyssey also sucked hard (I beat it, but not 100% because that's a waste of my lifespan) I gave up on the series.
This game is supposedly bigger and packed with more filler and padding than ever before. There is absolutely no way a grindy, filler, micro-trash-action laden game like this has a decent "formula that works so well".
Ubisoft ruin...
I made an EPIC account and have 30 free games registered on the account so far. I've never installed the program yet either. Maybe one day, and when I do, I'll have a lot to enjoy, go ahead and make an account and register those games!
What?! Phil Spencer has released more Xbox One controller variants throughout the console generation than he has first party games. All they're good at doing is releasing new hardware, but jack squat in regards to software! What a sham and what a shame! Person of the year, yet the first executive in gaming history to launch a brand new gaming device with zero next-gen games?
Again, I ask: What?!
Yeah, this is why I was upset when MS announced that they wouldn't make true next-gen games for Series X for the first two years of its shelf life.
Then I was upset at Jim Ryan for leading us to believe that Horizon 2 was PS5-only, but as it turns out, its on PS4 as well.
This *will* affect the game design for Horizon 2, unless if they add exclusive features to the PS5 version, but then you'll end up angering PS4 gamers, so you simply can't win!
When Time Crisis Razin Storm was announced I wanted to play it, but I held off on it for years. Finally in 2016 I had a craving to play it, so I bought it off ebay. Once I got the disc in the mail, I decided it was best to go through all the previous Time Crisis games first.
I had kept an old CRT TV specifically for light gun games, but it remained unplugged for over a decade.
I set up my PS1, GunCon 1, and copy of Time Crisis, and had such an amazing time. The gam...
