103,000 Steam reviews, huh?
How many of those players have completed the game? Just the main quest line?
How many of those players have completed the game 100%?
Steam reviews at the moment are simply "early impressions", and often times when the initial "wow factor" dissipates their opinions start to come back down to Earth.
@Chaos_Order
Wow, people really lost their shit over an 8.8 for Twilight Princess? I didn't enjoy the game much, if I had reviewed the Wii version with its annoying waggle-fest controls, I'd give it something like 5.0, and that's a generous 5.0.
The dungeons were too long, the color pallet was so drab everywhere, waggle controls made the game worse, the repetitive combat music was grating, playing as the wolf wasn't fun. Just so many issues, Nintend...
Absolutely, while I haven't finished the game yet, I feel confident calling it the sleeper hit out of all the launch titles for the two consoles released this year. Sony could have easily charged $20 USD for this game and I wouldn't have complained, but they give it away for free? Awesome, I love pack-in games.
A real gem this game is, it feels like the type of game Nintendo would make, but then I remember that Sony Japan Studios has always created whimsical and cha...
Sequel is coming, maybe even next year.
Zwei is amazing and I want to go back and replay it on Saturn now! :D
How would you describe Nintendo during the years of 2012 - 2016? "Getting god stomped"?
Holy shiz! I love all the Advent Children references! Mario almost getting impaled was both jaw-dropping and hilarious!
Ugh, I wish I loved the Smash game! But I only enjoyed the N64 game and none the sequels. Oh well.
Indeed! You want new exclusive games on Xbox Series S / X? Keep dreaming!
100% me too! Many PS3 / Xbox 360 games chugged hard, and I would have gladly gave up some visual flourishes for an improved frame rate.
Yeah that describes me pretty well. There's always some glitch, some missing DLL files, lots of Google Searching, hard to find your save file because dev teams put them in different folders, and sometimes in %appdata% hidden folders nonesense.
PC gaming is such a mess, because developers don't have any real standardization. If they did, that'd be great. I lost my Resident Evil 5 PC save file because it switched from Games for Windows Live to Steam, and it just c...
What about the machines designed specifically for a single purpose: to game on them? How could they be considered worse? lol
Such silly logic.
I love PDS, I own a copy (only cost me $56), and I'd love an expanded concept remake.
In fact, I have long thought of ideas and concepts for a sequel game as well.
Thing is though, I'd want it to be developed in-house as SEGA by Team Andromeda (original devs).
And not developed by the tiny indie studio that made PD1 remake recently. They simply don't have the money or the chops to do the game justice.
But we know SEGA doesn't give ...
I miss AKI wrestling gameplay too!
The director of No Mercy is working with AEW on a new wrestling game as well (developed by YUKE's), so perhaps it'll be awesome? I sure hope so!
No joke I recently played through and completed this piece of shit game. I wrote about it on reddit as well if you care to read thoughts on a person dumb enough to play through the entire game:

I totally see where you're coming from with that, Gatsu. But think of it this way, the 'true original stories' were already made by Kojima. The remakes (if they ever make them), doesn't negate the originals.
We could have Bluepoint take their own spin on the game, maybe even consult with Kojima, which they have a history with him since they teamed up with Kojima Productions in the past to remaster MGS 2, MGS 3, MGS PW.
Basically, whatever ...
Because Sony would pay for it, just like they helped fund CAPCOM to develop Street Fighter V.
You just answered your own question, Konami wouldn't pay to develop a high-quality game these days, so its up to someone else to foot the bill.
They can't use the original voice work at a higher bit rate for a specific reason. MGS was recorded inside a home, and they had to frequently stop recording as cars drove by and honked their horns.
If you were to listen to the original higher-quality recording of the PS1 files (which were compressed), you would actually hear cars driving by and other ambient sounds in the background. This is simply unacceptable as you could imagine, and so Twin Snakes had to have all vo...
Astro's Playroom is really the unsung hero of the new console launches this year. The game is packed with details and a lot of fun. Sony could have easily charged $20 for this game, but gave it away for free!
What's even more sad is if you look in the comments they posted sales break down for Ace Attorney and Onimusha:
The Capcom leaks also gave us the global platform sales splits of Ace Attorney Trilogy, as of Oct 2020:
> NSW: 462,395
> PC: 245,339
> PS4: 103,235
> XBO: 4,821
Total: 815,790
I found Onimusha HD's sales split as well:
> PS4: 207,453
> NSW: 111,869

Yeah, wow, cringey. I bet he had no reaction when PSP-2000 released with component output to a TV. Or PS TV playing PS1 + PSP + PS Vita games on the big screen. He's probably too young to even know what a SEGA Nomad is. Video out has been done many times before, and its really not that big of a deal.
Astro's Playroom is the sleeper hit of the console launches this year. Don't ignore it, that would be folly!
