This is what you call "video game jurnelizm." Laughable.
Because lying works for marketing.
MGS V has had a lot of story cut from release, more than just mission 51.
MGS V is relatively glitch-free, so it feels "finished" in terms of gameplay but the game concept was rushed to meet its release date. :(
People who hate on the THPS series don't understand that pure genius of it all, and that pure genius was brought on from NEVERSOFT! Robomodo is GARBAGE and Activison refuses to let them DIE!
In this day and age where game studios are constantly closing down, you would think a four-time failure studio like Robomodo wouldn't be around anymore. Ugh.
I am the biggest THPS you'll ever meet, but this game always looked like a disaster from the beginning. A couple days ago when we found out that Activsion wouldn't send review copies early made it all too clear that this was nothing but garbage from the get-go.
So sad, but at least we have 9 amazing Neversoft games to play in the series.
lol @ "We had high-hopes" why the hell would you have any type of hope for a Robomodo game? Ignorance is bliss.
The "hold-up-to-win" prologue mission needs a guide? (*facepalm*)
More unfinished garbage getting completed only after its "gone gold" taking up unnecessary space on your hard drive with massive sized patch.
The third one is a good tip actually, but I thought this typo was funny:
"If you have any suck rare tricks" Tricks sucking isn't rare, ironically enough. That's what they're best at. :p
I use grip it and other thumb grips and they feel great, better than the standard analog stick. Some raise the height of the stick by a lot, some by a tiny bit, and others like grip it do not raise the height at all. Give one a try, you'll probably end up feeling silly for skipping over them.
I thought that this was going to be a biased, crappy article, but it actually brought up a few good points. Both the writer and I agree, mobile is not the future of gaming, but will simply remain a part of gaming in the future.
Yeah this has been known for awhile, and I wished more websites would report this 100%-breaking glitch. Everyone reported the Quiet glitch, but not this one.
As a person affected by this as well, and having nearly 190 hours on my save file, KP and Konami really need to step up and fix this quickly.
Calm down, it's just costumes, does it really hurt that much to have optional costumes in a video game? If the price is cheap, then its not a big deal, but if they're $3 each costume (or more!) then its total crap.
I would have preferred for these to be in the game originally, but companies want to milk us for all we're worth these days.
OR! You can just use your awesome dualshock 4 controller as intended. SHOCKING REVELATION, I KNOW!
(*slaps forehead*)
Oh gee, I wonder what the answer to this question is.
Nirwanda already explained why. This is basically the last holiday season where last-gen consoles are relevant to core gamers. Moving forward into 2016 and beyond will come the glut of kiddie, off-brand, fourth-rate games. The same thing happened to PS1 and PS2 when they were no longer relevant in the market.
By the time Holiday 2016 rolls around, Tomb Raider will have been released on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, and PS4. The number of people who only own a PS3 and are willing to...
Actually its 7 years. Kojima started planning the game and the Fox Engine right after MGS 4's 2008 completion. Kojima Productions have been working their asses off to make this their grand finale!
Developers get paid bonuses when their games sell well. Especially an esteemed group like Kojima Productions, of course they'd get paid bonuses for high sales.
I'm getting the game day 1, however if you want to teach Konami a lesson, don't buy any of their games afterwards. When sales drop due to the bridges they've burned, they'll have to explain it to their investors why their games are bombing hard. After that, the president of Konami (apparently he'...
Given the flood of Shenmue articles recently, a lot of them are pointless clickbait, but this one was actually well written and well researched while remaining unbiased. Surprisingly so. Give it a read if you haven't yet.
So why not release it in December before the contract ends? Releasing in October makes no sense given its current state of quality. *facepalm*
