What do you mean by, "Almost"? They successfully ruined Xbox out of their own relentless greed. And will never recover as long as that failure Spencer is still around.

I loved the Xbox and Xbox 360, and I still play them often, because they had games I wanted to play. I own 5 Xboxes and 5 360s, yet I own 0 Xbox One or Series consoles. That tells you everything you need to know.

The people who ran Xbox early on were much better than Don and Phil....

Throughout gaming history, portable games have always cost less than console games. GB / GBC / GBA / DS / 3DS / PSP / PSV.

Any company charging $70 for two-gen-old-tech games on an out dated portable is straight B.S.

I'd say not to support it, but of course gamers will gladly bend over for their corporate masters.

Interesting. A lot of these numbers seem off, such as Virtua Fighter, are the numbers including arcade cabinets as well? VF was massively popular in Japan, and the first two games were reasonably popular in the States if for no other reason than the novelty and newness of playing polygonal fighting games. 5.5 million in total, even when taking into consideration PS2 / PS3 / PS4 seems way too low.

I liked the game's boss fights, a much needed occasional change of pace. Disagree with the writer on this.

Microsoft's Xbox division has had many "last chances" throughout the years, that never panned out well.

And regardless of how this game does, it will continue to get another decade of "last chances". 🙄

Buy another PS3. There's lots of classics that will remain permantly locked to that console. They're not hard to find, or hard to soft mod, either.

OK thanks, looking forward to seeing site improvements. Cheers.

A block function would be greatly appreciated. There's a lot of hate comments on this site (such as homophonic, race, or trans hate), and I don't care to see comments from those people, and they tend to be some of the more common posters, so it basically fills the comment section with constant spam.

We need commenters who are purposefully inciting arguments, 'fanning the flames of war', to be banned or make it more easily to get it marked as spam to make tho...

AC has been spoiled ever since they ruined the lore, changed the freerunning, added endless grinding and upgrading elements, moved the attacks to the shoulder buttons for no reason, infinitely spawning named characters hunting you, and a massive, uninteresting skill tree, placed on a game world that is too big, bland, and boring, packed with copy / paste locations, all designed to artificially extend the length of their crappy games.

Nothing Ubisoft can do to salvage this t...

Breath of the Wild had an online multiplayer mod, Tears of the Kingdom will get one as well, so your dreams will eventually become a reality. But Nintendo may try to shut it down, because of course they would.

I already own a V1 softmodded Switch, then I won a free V1 Switch in a random drawing contest, and I just recently bought the OLED TotK Switch to keep as "new old stock". Most likely have a modder install a modchip in it as well.

Everyday kids are having birthdays asking for Switch like their classmates, and of course they're dropping Switches on concrete constantly, asking for a replacement. Lots of reasons why the system will keep on selling well until 2024....

I have seen people argue against their own interests with Presidential Elections. There's actually a lot of common parallels between console wars and elections, which is frightening.

So many people are so ignorant they don't understand that they're harming themselves. And you can't educate them otherwise.

Microsoft has congratulated Sony in the past.
Sony is congratulating Nintendo now.
Has Nintendo congratulated any first party in the past?

Its a really good, but short game, I beat it 5 or maybe 6 times on Stadia, always thinking that it deserved to be on actual physical hardware. Imagine a cross between RE2 remake and Stranger Things to get an idea of what its like. Not too scary, but just creepy enough to keep you from getting comfortable.

An underrated gem worth playing, but the ending is too short, and the story doesn't explain much in the end. So if you're looking for a fully explained plot or log...

Pinning all your hopes on a single game is not a sign of a healthy eco system.

Even more worrisome is that it's a Bethesda game. I fell for the Fallout 4 hype and regretted it. They never fixed progress blocking glitches with it. Lame.

This is so spot on. Indeed, he's so focused on the competition, instead of being focused on his own company!

The strange secret to Nintendo's success is that they literally don't give a crap about anyone but themselves, they aren't focused on Sony, ever since the Wii era, all the way back in 2003 when it entered development. And while they've had ups and downs, Nintendo has always retained a massive legion of fans around the world. They are focused on th...

Think about it this way, Xbox Series X|S is the only gaming console in history to launch with ZERO NEW first party games. No one else have ever launched a console without at least one freakin' game to show for it! And this is after a huge lull during the Xbox One era, where people assumed (incorrectly) that they were saving their games for the next generation. Well we all know that to be a load of crap now. They simply had jack squat for years, and with no excuses.

So w...

I remember Microsoft doing the same thing back in 2005 to manipulate people into 'feeling' that digital prices were cheaper than they actually were.

$10 USD was 800 MS Points. But it 'looks like' $8 to most at first glance. So you're browsing the XBLA store, see an 800 point game, MS is counting on people to translate that as $8 USD (because that would be quite logical), so you decide to buy the game, but when you go to purchase the 800 points it ends up...

Time ran out a long time ago, stop giving them undeserved time extensions.

The original Xbox was great, it felt genuine and sincere, by people who cared about games, even though their idea of a modern controller was lacking, with that awful DUKE and the slightly less awful Type-S.

360 was pretty cool early on, the BLADES OS was nice, it had a ton of games, and Sony was somewhat caught with their pants down, and MS took advantage. Competition is good, and...

Play it online multi-player to make it slightly more fun, but only the host makes progress? Pathetic and inexcusable game design. This should never happen in any year, let alone in the year 2023 or beyond.
