10 years ago I remember idiots supporting the Xbox One DRM plan. I, however, decided to stop supporting Microsoft all together at that point. And until they showed me that they had learned their lesson, and starting behaving themselves, I was never going to support them again.

Well 10 years have passed, and yep, MS still doesn't get my money, and after all this, I doubt they ever will. MS has done the exact opposite approach they should have over the past 10 years, its ...

Never been a fan of Western RPGs, I've tried to get into them, I usually lose interest really quickly. Xbox RPGs just aren't for me. I actually prefer more classic linear RPGs as opposed to open ended "go anywhere" RPGs which have less structure, lots of aimless walking around and constantly collecting loot, then having to deal with weight burden. Not for me.

MGS 1 is one of my favorite games ever, and age hasn't slowed it down one bit. I still play it, and have no issues with the visuals or controls. Twin Snakes on the other hand, I've attempted to beat it four separate times and could never enjoy it enough to even make it half way through the mission.

I don't like the controls (even worse that they can't be customized in the options menu).
I don't like the music.
I don't like the dialo...

"Baggillion?" Never heard that term before! That was hilarious, thanks for the laugh. And its so true, MS has tried so many shady or shitty business tactics to improve their standings, and none of it is working. All because they keep ignoring the most important ingredient: MAKE GOOD GAMES!

The low-tier troll never had any credibility to begin with, though.

Stop worrying about Ubisoft games, and instead start ignoring them.

The game is still online via fan servers, I think its even playable on PC these days. You can play MGO 2 right now if you wanted to, nothing is stopping you from doing so.

If this is (team) deathmatch only, then I'm not all that interested in it. But if it has territory mode (like Splatoon painting the stage to win the match), then I want to give this game a chance.

The solution, as always is piracy. It fixes almost everything wrong with how publisher treat the industry and gamers. Its absolutely mandatory for game preservation, and people need not shy away from it out of some silly made up moral obligation.

Comical headline.

I'm not a fan of Western RPGs, even less so Bethesda WRPGs. I got hyped up for Morrowwind on Xbox, played it for 2 weeks, got bored, and sold it to my friend. Never had a desire to go back to it.

Then I got hyped up for Fallout 4, played for a month, ran into a quest glitch, got annoyed and moved on. The game wasn't that engaging to me anyway.

If I even cared to play this game, I'd probably play for 1 or 2 ...

It's true that games take four to five years to develop at this point (sometimes more). However (and this is the most important part), what the hell have you fools been doing for the past TEN YEARS?!

Over the past TEN YEARS your specialty is releasing let down after let down after let down. Either that or cancelation after cancelation. Scalebound, Project Spark, Fable Legends, Phantom Dust full remake, and who knows how many more cancelations there have been that haven&...

I truly despise the future of gaming. Fortunately I'm content with playing games from 1983 and onward, so I'll have more than I could ever play in my lifetime.

As for the kids of today and the future, they have no clue how bad they'll have it. Since none of them have a frame of reference for how good gaming used to be, none of them will stand up against this bullshit. What a shame.

All this tells me is that the entire game is a filler and padding slogfest. I don't want "5 games rolled into 1" because that just means endless repetitive, generic locations, with boring drivel quest design, and pointless plots that spin their wheels for the majority of the playthrough.

Grind and repetition doesn't add extra value, it instead decreases value.

In Fallout 4, I came across a glitched quest, with a crab boss that wouldn'...

Both of them aren't actually gamers, so how would they know? I don't trust anything they say.

Within 3 days of launch expect 30+ minute videos dedicated to all the bugs, crashing, etc., on YouTube.

Not a good idea, and here's why:

- This is a medium budget remake, its going to be as close to 1:1 as possible from the PS2 game. This isn't a re-imagining like FF7 or RE 2 / 3 / 4. This is cheap-ass Konami, not actually willing to add much budget to their games, but only willing to go so far as to profit off nostalgia and not much more.

- The game is using the PS2-era voice acting, so adding new dialog or lore would feel out of place with the old...

CAPCOM still refusing to acknowledge the awesome Miles Edgeworth games? This was their chance to make up for their past transgression. Alas. Thank goodness for the fans translating the game.

Beat it for the 14th time recently. Acts 1, 2, 4, are still amazing. Act 3 is trash as it's always been, and Act 5 is just too short. If they had an extra year to increase the amount gameplay areas, the game could have rivaled MGS 3 in quality.

We needed a re-release, MGS 4: Existence to add back the cut content that was removed (sneaking through the sewers with Big Mama, and more). Alas, the opportunity for that to happen is long gone now.

Smaller games from smaller publishers, like Spike Chunsoft, and indie games mostly don't have that crap.

I've lost interest in the vast majority (but not all) of big budget games these days, so I'm always on the lookout for non-grindy filler junk, that focuses on being quirky fun.

If the game has a "Territory mode", like Splatoon, then I'm interested, if it's only death match, then I'll pass.

They're trying to win back people like me, the ones who were fans of the earlier games, but got sick of Ubicrap's terrible business practices of intentionally making their games filler junk in order to increase player retention. The goal of course was to coax dummy gamers into spending additional currency on their garbage micro-trash-actions.

Yes, the micros could be avoided, but the boring slog game design, the pointless go-nowhere plot, and the stale, unrewarding ...
