Don't you dare insult my precious Howard the Duck! 🤣🦆😂
Makes sense since I don't care for either one of their works.
Translation: Micro-trash-actions and lots of them.
From the beginning of disc-based gaming these companies should have made their disc drives (the most likely fail point of the hardware) easily replaceable. It would have saved a ton of consoles from being junked and creating many tons of e-waste.
I don't buy as many games these days, but I still want physical discs, and I'm hoping the rumors of a replaceable disc drive in future Sony consoles is true. It's what we've needed all along. If the drive fails, pul...
Since you're a midget on stilts, how does the statue's height compare to your own?
Takashi Iizuka being wrong about something? Surprise, surprise.
Whether its the classic Sonic pentalogy of games on the Genesis / MegaDrive.
Retro-modern like Sonic Mania, fan games, or future official 2D Sonic games, there will always be a place in this industry for 2D pixel art (or HD sprite art) gaming.
I've been focusing so much more of my time on older games, from WWF No Mercy to Mirror's Edge on PS3, to recent fan translations of Sega Saturn RPGs.
Flashcart, ODEs, or emulation has enough games to play for the rest of your life. Modern gaming is losing me at a rapid pace, so look to the past for a better gaming future.
The fact that you can't easily do local save file back ups on PS5, and cloud saves are still behind a paywall is bullcrap, and with this price increase its even worse now. Make cloud saves free as a gesture of good will to the community.
This man makes me happy to be out of the Xbox ecosystem.
I'll always cherish my Original Xbox and Xbox 360, but everything after that has been a disaster.
This is the exact opposite of what I wanted hear. Yikes. 😬
I miss the days of quality over quantity, brevity, and understanding when it's time to roll credits. Not just this game, but the entire industry is heading towards that Ubisoft bloatware trash direction.
I already knew in advance that this was going to be a lazy and sloppy port job. I remember some blogger fool claiming that "Konami is back!"
Nope, Konami are still a fourth-rate embarrassing publisher preying on old people's nostalgia for their classic IPs when they released masterpiece games so many years ago.
I'm informing everyone now that MGS 3 Delta will also be a cheap remake with very little new content outside of a modern control...
Bad news, especially for someone like me who loves Xbox and Xbox 360, but has refused to purchase anything after the 2013 debacle, and Microsoft's lack of interesting games. Backwards compatibility means nothing to me since I don't own anything after the 360.
Going forward JTAG / RGH or Xenia emulator will be the only ways to preserve many lost 360 games in the future. Now someone needs to make a list of every Xbox 360 exclusive that isn't on PC, PS3, or backwar...
As this generation continues I see some medium and smaller sized publishers and developers third parties just giving up on the Xbox ecosystem entirely because the S is too much of a pain to deal with.
What's gone gold:
- Assassin's Creed Mirage.
- The micro-trash-action digital junk store that'll sell you additional slapstick gear, resource packs, and experience points boosters, in a game that never needed resources or "experience points" in the first place.
- Throwaway plot that doesn't evolve the modern story because they ran out of ideas 10 years ago.
- Filler side missions just to arti...
Xbox Series S feels like Sega from the 90's releasing both the Saturn in Japan and the 32x in USA back in 1994. The 32x was the cheaper 'next-gen' alternative, meant to bridge the gap due to the Saturn being a costly console. They wanted to keep Genesis owners focused on Sega at a lower cost, so the 32x was created, released, and flopped embarrassingly hard. Which had the side effect of, splitting developers time, energy, and budget on yet another piece of hardware, while also los...
If you're the type to willingly log into a crappy Collar Duty game, then you get what you deserve. Either get scammed by giving Bobby Shittick your money over digital junk, or get scammed by other players who paid Bobby Shittick giving them an advantage with their digital junk.
Gaming standards have dropped so low these days that trash games have become the most popular. Such a shame.
So glad I'm done with this series. It started to go downhill after III, when they ended the only story that was interesting.
Yet they kept it going year after year with padding, filler, grindy games, with throwaway plots that remain unresolved and ignored.
Then they sunk even further with Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, with endless menu time spent, scouring for trash off the floor collecting "resources", constantly acquiring worthless gear, and const...
Independent or smaller studios need to stop selling themselves to these worthless mega corps that will shut them down at a moments notice.
It's why I hate the current state of the industry, as well as the future of it. Terrible times ahead.
As a former fan of the franchise, nope, I won't play it.
- Worthless plots that go nowhere.
- Filler quests, with modern games having less mission variety than the older games.
- Laziest game design with boring skill trees that too many developers rely on these days.
- Ubisoft has been too greedy for too long intentionally releasing unpolished or downright unfinished games to make a quick buck for Black Friday sal...
