Just what is the endgame here? Is it a future where no video game characters are allowed to look sexy? Is it a future where we glorify violence constantly but get up in arms about a skirt that's above the knee? Gimme a break... People like looking at attractive characters in sexy outfits, men and women included. So long as the content is appropriately age restricted just what is the problem?
Nope. I'm left wing, have been all my life and I'm still aware it is left wing liberal regressives who are taking us down this path of censorship. They are the ones who petitioned to get GTAV banned because it "promoted violence against women." They are the ones who wanted DOAX3 banned because of sexualisation. Conservatives aren't guilty in this instance.
If Gal Gun: Double Peace and Valkyrie Drive can make it over here uncensored then just what is the problem? Don't blame SJWs, just release the game how you want, and if the hipster betas and feminazis type themselves into a frenzy, just ignore them like the rest of us. Otherwise, better ban all the male costumes where they show too much skin. I mean, you can dress King up in nothing but a pair of tiny wrestling shorts and even see his bulge. It triggers me so much!
*disappointment
Seriously, guys. Spellchecker is your friend!
It's funny how most people see no issue with blasting people in the face with a shotgun in the digital world, but insert attractive characters and suddenly people are worried that little Timmy will treat women like objects.
Sure, it'd be great to see more devs craft deep and relatable characters as opposed to just eye candy, and it's fine to let devs know that we'd want to see this. But at the same time, we should never stifle those who simply want to make a...
Come on... Localise this... You know you wanna... ;)
I absolutely love this game! Such a unique experience. :) I especially like how all the characters interact with each other and go about their lives while you're sneaking around the hotel. So many times I'd be spying on characters just to see what they're up to, only to suddenly get spotted and nearly jump out of my seat. XD
It's not for everyone, but I for one thought it was amazing. Bring it to PS4 so more people can experience it!
I don't get why so many people are intent on calling the system "dead." Even if you point out the huge list of games still to be released for it, the exclusives, the fact new Vita games get announced like clockwork, and the sheer number of games currently available, people just want to ignore all that and point to sales numbers or whatever.
No matter. I'll keep on buying games for my Vita, of which I own twice as many games for than PS4, (and many more ex...
Agreed, Sony's marketing for the Vita was just horrible... -_- Every advert I saw on TV just showed overly ecstatic young people playing FIFA and Need For Speed making the game look like it had no exclusives, just inferior console ports. Mere months later, and adverts were nowhere to be seen, meaning some of the system's best games got no mainstream exposure. It felt as if Sony had given up before the ball had even started rolling.
Thank goodness the Vita ended up ...
Mine from best to worst would be:
1. Dark Souls
2. Dark Souls 3
3. Bloodborne
4. Demon's Souls
5. Dark Souls 2
All are amazing games though. :)
I wouldn't waste your breath... No matter how often people point out the sheer number of games available on Vita, the list of upcoming games, the huge stack of exclusives, the fact new Vita games get announced like clockwork, people will forever be stuck with this mindset that Vita is dead.
I own twice as many Vita games as I do PS4 (and way more exclusives, that's for sure) and there are tons of upcoming games I want. I play my Vita more than any other system, but...
"Sorry, it gets PC, PS3 ports too. Does it get exclusives? no. Not anymore."
Yes it does. This very month in fact Shiren The Wanderer: Tower of Fortune is releasing, and that's an exclusive. Plus we saw the recent releases of Severed, Danganronpa: Ultra Despair Girls, Summon Night 5 (although you could count the extremely rare and sought after physical PSP version for that one if you really wanted to be stingy) and Trillion: God of Destruction. Last year saw S...
Gonna be getting Psycho Pass and Yomawari on Vita. Can't wait! :)
Unless a game is super rare and expensive, I'm all about the physical. In fact, I recently bought a physical copy of Puppeteer despite having the PS+ version, just so I could own it on disc. (And I'll probably do the same with Super Meat Boy)
Maybe it's a psychological thing but I never feel like I truly own a digital game. It's just an icon on the screen, not part of my collection. Having an actual box with an actual disc/cartridge to put on the shelf just ...
I thankfully lucked out with a reliable seller on eBay who had one copy left, and received mine today. This sucks for those who pre-ordered on Amazon. I've seen several comments from people on The Vita Lounge forums about delayed delivery. It's a darn shame!
Apparently you're only allowed to twist the meaning of the word "exclusive" to mean whatever the hell you want when it comes down to PS4 vs XBO because that's all gamers care about, it seems...
I've not seen a single person claim that Quantum Break was a "PC exclusive" or that Grand Kingdom was a "Vita exclusive." But with the PS4/XBO you're allowed to say it because fanboy list wars. And when you point out that an exclusive can...
Absolutely correct! Many games on this list are also on PC or Vita, therefore they are not exclusive. People need to stop using that word if it's not what they mean.
And again, because everyone seems to think pointing this out is because of some kind of agenda, it's not a case of fanboy bragging rights, it's a case of objective FACT. Any game that is released on more than one platform is not exclusive. That is an inarguable FACT.
Again, it has nothing to do with fanboy bragging rights, it has to do with the use of the word "exclusive." Quantum Break isn't an XBO exclusive in just the same way that Grand Kingdom isn't a PS4 exclusive, since it's also on Vita.
Exactly. If a game is on two platforms, it's not exclusive. It's not a matter of bragging rights or schoolyard console wars, it's a matter of FACT. You might as well call Undertale a "Steambox exclusive" at this rate.
But of course, the rebuttals are that "PS4 owners don't own PCs" or that "PS4 has SFV and No Man's Sky" or "it's on the MS store so it's Xbox exclusive." None of those paltry arguments change...
It's funny that there's a call for "average" characters and yet they only use the US average for their examples... If you base everything on the most obese country in the world of course game characters look super fit and skinny, lol.
