What a naughty dog you are, making other developers look bad! For shame!
But seriously, there's a reason Naughty Dog are so highly regarded. They have unbridled passion and the talent to back it up. Uncharted 2 is already one of my top 10 games of all time. If they can top it...
No, not at all. The only one I'd possibly skip is Dark Souls 2.
Demon's Souls, Dark Souls and Bloodborne are all utterly sublime and have not aged one bit.
From Software did not develop 3D Dot Game Heroes, they merely published it in Japan. It was developed by Silicon Studio who are better known for the Bravely Default series.
I feel this could be a risky venture. Assuming all games work for both systems but with minor performance differences, we could see one of two scenarios:
One: Devs mainly focus on making games for the old system and not adding for the new one so that nobody misses out. Sony vows to keep all its consumers happy by offering the same content for both. Thus, buyers of the new system feel cheated.
Two: Devs concentrate on the new system and leave those with an ol...
Supposedly, games made for the new system would work on both old and new systems, but show benefits in terms of framerate and resolution on the new systems.
Personally, I think this whole idea is stupid, and I absolutely do not plan on buying an 'intermediate' console.
I still think the game will sell well. The time manipulation stuff is way beyond what we've seen in other games and I think that's what people are interested in.
I don't get this expectation that every hyped game must get 85+ meta or it'll bomb and people will hate it.
Hey, at least most people are only losing their minds over sub 7 scores these days. :P
I can still remember the 'horror' when Gamespot gave Zelda: Twilight Princess an 'extremely low' score of 8.8 out of 10 and people went absolutely nuts, claiming they were anti-Nintendo and calling for the reviewer's head. Fun times...
I still have a working PS2, and even a working PS1 hooked up to my TV! (Been playing Final Fantasy 6 on it recently)
I still play them on occasion if I discover some forgotten gem that I never played on eBay. Some of these have turned out to be some of my favourite games of all time! (King's Field 4, Front Mission 3, Gregory Horror Show, Klonoa 2 etc.)
Meh, she's not my waifu anyway. That sexy witch on the other hand... :P
Let's ban Ryu, too. His muscular body makes me feel inadequate and makes all men out to be sex objects! Oh... The horror...
But seriously, this stuff is getting out of hand. In a game about punching people in the face until they lose consciousness the biggest issue is whether the characters look too sexy.
Really looking forward to this. :)
I love ultra realistic racing sims, though Project Cars left me feeling underwhelmed by its campaign mode where everything is unlocked from the start and difficulty is on a slider. Multi-player was ruined by a**holes who would purposefully crash into you to wreck your car and then quit the race without a care in the world...
From what I can see, Dirt Rally should offer an improvement in these areas. :)
I'll only be getting Uncharted 4 in May. Not because I think the other games look bad, but because my wallet will be crying from buying Dirt Rally, Trackmania Turbo, Ratchet and Clank, Trillion: GoD and Dark Souls 3 in April. ;_;
@Harypotr
The blacksmith in that area is barely a few steps from the bonfire, and extremely close to where the boss is. Plus, if you unlock the shortcut in the bell tower back to the starting area, there's ANOTHER blacksmith not far from there. Not to mention there's nothing forcing you to face the boss again and again. You can head off in a completely different direction and try again later. Just because there isn't a massive arrow pointing you to a blacksmith o...
In the future all game characters will be overweight, flat-chested, turkey-necked sloths with saggy butts.
Unfortunately, this is body-shaming people in countries like Ethiopia who are on average, extremely underweight. They are offended by the unrealistic standards of fat slobs given the lack of food and clean water. However, since they don't live in a privileged country like America, their voices are worth less than the shrieking, rainbow-haired trust fund babies who ...
I have played every Ratchet and Clank game ever, (including the oft forgotten Secret Agent Clank on PSP) and will definitely be getting this one.
After Q-Force and Nexus dropped the ball a little IMO, I'm happy to see the series move away from the "smaller games at a low price" model. Oh, and I absolutely cannot wait to see Drek as the main villain again. :D
There is literally nothing sexual about that pose. Literally. Nothing. Nada. Zero.
Is it considered 'sexualised' because we can see her butt, and she's leaning slightly? Because people lean slightly all the time and most people have butts. It's not like she's giving bedroom eyes or holding her hand on her hip, or pushing her ass out or biting her lip or anything. She's just standing there.
I genuinely can't see how anyone could p...
It's okay, David. You only missed out on being a part of the worst Metal Gear game since Metal Gear Acid. Don't sweat it.
I absolutely love MGS4 but yeah, I can completely understand your opinion. The cutscenes did drag on forever.
One thing I will say is that I think MGS4 really benefits from being played on the higher difficulties. Hard mode for the first run is a must IMO.
I completely agree. In actual fact, MGSV marks the most disappointed I have ever been in a game in my entire life, and I've been gaming since the SEGA Mega Drive. Metal Gear is possibly my favourite franchise ever but Phantom Pain was an utter chore to play. I played it for 30 hours thinking "It'll get better, it'll get better, it's leading up to something, I need to keep playing," but nothing happened. Terrible open world, dull missions, sub-par boss fights, cringe-...
Don't forget Persona 5, Star Ocean 5, Dreams, Gravity Rush 2...
This is sure to be one of the best years in gaming history.
