Generalize is not very intelligent either, BC and remastering classics are both good things. "Most of the time" remastering offers a better experience than the original and sometimes helps to put a classic game in the hands of a new generation of gamers, BC is also cool 'cause it benefits those with an established collection of games or expands the catalogue of a new platform, both solutions are great choices and having choices is not a bad thing, If I had a the choice of playin...

I don't believe that bs, that isn't cost effective at all, a huge console with lots of things to license besides high production cost means that nintendo must take a big hit if they want to sell it for less than 500$ (a price that has been proved to translate in slow attach rates), don't expect them to use that "Hammer" Wii U like co-processor for backward compatibility, that will only raise the price even more (see the PS3 early units for reference) and the gamepad is c...

Actually this "was" a known complaint on the first days of the Wii U, Nintedo gave minimal documentation with their earliest development kits (in japanese nonetheless).

It seems that at those early stages, contacting Nintendo for support was a very slow process. Quoting an interview from Eurogamer: "After about a week of chasing we heard back from the support team that they had received an answer from Japan, which they emailed to us.", in other news Avala...

Nintendo is very traditional so they always go to their former partners first when looking for new designs, they've had a strong partnership with ATI since the cube and obviously this relationship still remains to this day with AMD since it merged with ATI, Latte (WIi U GPU) was designed with the aid of AMD so Nintendo working with AMD for NX GPU is not surprising at all.

Brand puppets man, I prefer PS4 over the XBONE myself but that doesn't translate in wanting to see the XBONE lost and gone, there isn't a reason that we can't give some love to both platforms, I've always said that in the end, gaming is more about games and fun rather than platforms.

How so? I'm just stating my opinion, nothing to loose the head about, I like to talk about games and stuff XD, it was an honest question thought, I do think that it might have some technical issues in some games but to say it might be buggy... well, I just prefer to wait and see how it goes.

PS NOW, With the internet connection speed in my country... that's not gonna happen (6 MB tops and for ridiculous prices, I have 4 MB), PS NOW might be a great service but is not a backward compatibility solution, is a netflix of games so it won't use my discs, I would like to use my catalogue, I mean, that's why I still have my PS3, it's not collecting dust either as everytime I've some friends coming to the house I take out my PS3 for multiplayer matches of Tekken Tag an...

It might not help for outselling the PS4 but will sure help to move more units, that isn't a bad thing, I wish I could have my PS3 in the living room (my little fatty is in my room) with the big screen besides my PS4 but I don't have a lot of space left there :( my living room set up is really crowded, a Polk CSI 5, a huge audio-video receiver, an UPS, a HAF-X E-ATX PC, the PS4 and the Wii U in there, Backward Compatibility could give me some peace of mind, I need more space XD

"because you'd be the only person in line" Lol rage much? I'm not an overzealous brand puppet (you are open to read my comment history) but you're free to think whatever the hell you want, it doesn't make you right though. If nintendo does a good job with the NX since the start then maybe I'll become an early adopter of their platform, the same for every console out there. I just remarked that it would be nice to have BOTH kinds of games, take a breather friend. ...

Hey I agree and disagree (but gave you a thumbs up 'cause it's about time for more Mario 64 XD), we can have both types of art styles and games, I have a blind spot in my heart for Mario 64 art-style as well but also had tons multiplayer fun with Mario 3D World and I'll hate to see that kind of art style go away too as it added a lot to the overall atmosphere of the game.

That would be awesome, by getting with the times in some aspects Nintendo can only get stronger, things like: better online infrastructure, games tied to an account system (not the hardware) more social features like party chat, cross game chat, game invites, NO MORE REGION LOCKS, VIRTUAL CONSOLE CROSS BUY, E-READER AND COMIC READER APP, having the choice of listening to music on an stick or an external HDD while playing a game. They can do this with the Wii U, no need to wait for the NX for ...

I'm with Fries 1223 on this one, is not the graphics but the false advertising, even so I'm not so dogmatic in this point of view, I recognise that sometimes is difficult to maintain a target and deliver performance at the same time but this shouldn't be as frequent as it has become.

Loktai, Come on dude! Legacy of Kain "a playstation thing" give me a break! it was a multi-platform franchise from the start and every title is available on PC since the first game: "Blood Omen" and even a Sega Saturn version was in development along side the Playstation version but it was cancelled due to declining sales of the platform. There isn't one single legacy of kain game developed exclusively for playstation and the latest title (currently in open beta for PC...

More Support: Mario! Pokemon! Metroid Federation Force?Sequels! Japan! Excitement?
I know is a good lineup Otaku, I'm just joking a little bit but I might pass on most of those games these time around, just Bravely Second for me, thanks.

What happened with the support that the PSP enjoyed? It had awesome first and second party games, both God of War were top of the line. They never gave up on the PSP, that system was plagued with piracy and I believe it was still a profitable venture, they still have time to turn the boat around but it may be a huge task giving that developing games for the PS4 sure has most of the studios busy.

In my country there is no way we can turn for the official warranty, we have 3 months of coverage by the import stores and that's it, everyone I know had 2 or 3 X360s because of technical issues, so yeah, by my experience, Bathyj has a point Septic, there were lots of sales that microsoft had because of failure rates, many people weren't willing to part ways with their established collection of games and accesories.
