Why not? The original game was first released on Sega Saturn and the same day it came out for the Playstation it also came out for PC.
And the first Tekken and Soul Edge (Soul Calibur predecessor) arcade versions were both based on Namco System 11 board that was based on playstation hardware, so yeah, playstation is their home so no arguments with that, even so, I do think that the more the merrier, I don't see a reason why it should be restricted to one platform.

Like you said Paul, remote play is also for playing on a different room, most people have the PS4 in the living room, if someone is watching TV and you want to play the PS4 on a big screen but you don't have a Playstation TV in your room this is a great option, and if it looks and plays better (better resolution and less lag than the PSTV streaming capability) I'll take it, better is good!

They publish games from other studios, I won't shut the door on them, I'll won't pre-order games from WB because of the last two games fiasco but I'll give them a chance, if their next game manage to catch my attention I'll wait 1-2 months after it launches just to be sure, that means I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, I might still buy their games but I won't pre-order or buy them day 1.

In time, if there is enough interest some guys might do it but currently, the responsibility lies with the developer given that its still a new game, some configurations have no issues with the game and this kind of happens with some titles on every platform now and then. How much time did the PS3 Skyrim version had to wait for a proper fix on the frame stopping glitch? How many patches came and went 'till Witcher 3 addressed the frame pacing problems on the PS4? every platform has issues...
The PC community has also squashed some glitches and bugs for games like ESIV:Oblivion, supporting the game even beyond the developer with patches, some games even have mods or "fixes" for going lower than the recommended minimum requirements for people with less capable machines 'cause the more the merrier.

Ghost Babel, I love that little game but while Ghost Babel is set in an alternate universe MGS:Mobile is actually a prequel to MGS2, it's still debated if it's canon but it hasn't been refute either nor is set as an implausible event.
You can't play the full MGS saga on playstation, you can play all the numbered games but not the full saga. There is the prequel for MGS2, MGS:Mobile for the Ngage, is nitpicking I know! but is true! XD
Also, people forget that the first metal gear solid was also available on Windows, it was known as MGS:Integral because it had new features.
