And it looks good enough to me, seems like it doesn't take a lot from the overall presentation and most importantly, it doesn't take away from the fun, you can always hope for an HD remaster or PC emulation someday in the long, long future if this bothers you that much.

Two reasons, diferent face models and it's not on PC. I tend not to buy third party remasters on console anymore, just in case these won't carry on to next gen hardware, but if there's cross buy and cross save features between the Vita and the PS4 version... well I'm not made of stone you know!
I agree that they are doing what they think is best for their business but they definitely could've done better. If they don't turn away from shunning that awesome IPs catalogue, believe me, I won't be the only one spending money elsewhere.
Maybe editing a config or applying a mod could get around that, who knows if someone is willing to fix the camera.

I wish Nvidia were more open and give support to freesync as well as G-sync, I'm aware that G-sync is somewhat more advanced having an specialised module on displays that prop this feature and all that jazz but it drives the price up, freesync works and is "open" so I don't see any other reason than corporate pride for not adding it to the plethora of features of the GTX cards, this way they still can market G-sync for the diehard green enthusiasts and don't loose ground...

And in most cases your previous controllers, fighting sticks and headsets won't work with your new console, on PC you can play with all kinds of controllers and that is a huge plus for me! I mean, I haven't bought a single controller for my PC as I use the X360 and PS3 controllers. I wish I could use my PS3 controllers for multiplayer on my PS4 and save me some bucks.
