He's not just talking about power. He's talking about system design. In the case of the ps5, Sony's approach has been quite unusual, which is why he's commenting. He obviously admires what they're doing

The SX, while no doubt very impressive, is more traditional in it's approach. They appear to have designed a fantastic machine. Sony's approach to the PS5 appears to be far more non-traditional. Digital Foundry commented on how exotic the design of the system is. I think this is just a case of an expert in their field being openly impressed and excited by something which he cares about. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'll be getting a PS5. But I've no doubt the SX will be a fantastic console. I don't think anybody is underestimating the SX. If anything I think people are underestimating the PS5 due to its power disadvantage on paper.
@khalina Judging by the fact that everyone was predicting it was going to happen and the fact that double the number of people left negative reviews within a 3 hour period than had reviewed the first game in 7 years. Also, scrolling through those reviews and seeing endless pages of 0s and 1s. And reading some of the hate filled bigoted vile.. Yeah, I'd say that does have a lot to do with it. Excuse my terrible terrible ignorance.

You're not going to get zero load times. They already demoed pub g loading on the series x. Took around 10 seconds to load a level. Much faster than the Xbox one, but nowhere near instant

One shot doesn't mean real time. It's specifically referring to the fact that the camera never cuts away. 1917 isn't one shot. It's camera cuts away at a point during the movie. You could have a movie following a character, fully in real time with all kind of cuts. Then it's not one shot. You're slightly confused
