They planned and anticipated this outrage, with the sole intention or reversing their decision. Now every news outlet in the world is reporting that Xbox live gold, won't be changing its price and that MS listens to it's customers. And people here are like, "Thanks MS, you got my back!"
The best horror movie I've ever played. Part of what this game nailed so brilliantly was pacing. This opening levels is one of my favourite moments in the history of gaming. Stone cold classic
It's a weird state of affairs when games are being patched on Series X to bring them level with PS5. As predicted, the terraflops talk was all for nothing in the end. Great job Sony!
It's crazy how much you miss it when it not there. I've been playing and really enjoying AC Valhalla, and haptics haven't been impmemted nearly as much as I'd like, but I'll dive into the water and suddenly there's a deep bubbly rumble rising to the top of the dualsense and it feels like diving into water. It makes the absence of the technology across much of the rest of the game all the more noticeable. It's superb technology and Sony really has done a fantastic j...
That's not too far in! But it was a great arc
Or to give an honest assessment, while the game is still available in stores. Because CDPR absolutely need taking to task by as many people as possible for their handling of this
Me too. I still remember how excited I was when I booted up GT1 at launch. And still, in my opinion, nothing beats that GT feeling. Absolutely cannot wait for GT7
That still sounds like a choice
Can we just remember, Perfect Dark is just a name at this point. Just because a game was good 20 years ago doesn't automatically mean this will be an awesome exclusive. There's literally nothing to go off. Just another cinematic.
It's dynamic 4k I believe. Not 1080p
My biggest gripe with open world games is the feeling that you need to plough 300 hours into them. A shorter more focussed story is music to my ears.
I just beat it tonight. The only boss which posed any problem was Maneater. After that last boss on Sekiro, going back to demon's souls isn't the challenge it once was!
Who would of thought that for the price of only £250 you could play games at 900p?! Where do I sign up?!
Although nausea can be mitigated somewhat with better tech, some people are just prone to it no matter what
Based on Jim Ryan's comments regarding nothing being revealed next year, I imagine we'll see PSVR 2, released around Christmas 2022. Gives Sony a couple of years to establish a potential customer base. And I'll be first in line!
Or the Series X could have more theoretical power, but the PS5 was designed to have its power be more accessible, by engineers who care less about marketing and more about real world performance, regardless of who the developer is
I was just sat waiting for a lift to get to me on Demon's Souls. I could feel the chain links moving in my hands. There are hundreds of little touches like this which add up to an incredibly immersive experience. Devs will be falling over themselves to differentiate their product with their implementation now they're all seeing how powerful the tech can be. It's too late for MS this gen though I'm afraid
It may be the most powerful, but it's not the most effective. This was always the danger of making your entire narrative about tflops. Sony never talked power, but they did talk speed. And speed is what we're getting.
It may not be for everyone, but I absolutely love how it looks in person. It's a real statement. I think Sony did well by not just playing it safe
Many companies have done this kind of thing before. It's a tried and tested marketing technique and isn't beyond the realms of possibility
