This what happens when people don't understand what theyre looking at. Just the addition or raytracing is a massive leap.

You can appreciate the lines way better on this 3D model. It's not 100% but its very close. Looks miles better than in the photos https://sketchfab.com/3d-mo...

There's a massive difference in geometric detail and textures. Also, the post processing is way higher quality. Don't think these comparison shots fully illustrate how big the jump is

It looks like we could be getting Ratchet & Clank and Miles Morales at launch. I'd expect Demon's Souls to be aorund launch window too. Those alone are reason to buy it day one. If not, you're in the wrong place.

If you think that Sony is just going to go into the next generation by saying, "Yeah, all our services are staying exactly as they are. No improvements necessary. Goodnight", then I think you're in for a big shock

Your argument is nonsense

This isn't necessarily true. While it may often be the case. In the future, there is a very real possibility the SSD spped will sit along side CPU, GPU and RAM as a games requirements. For example, on PC, If you want a to hit ultra requirements you'll need a 3080, 32GB RAM and a 5000mb SSD. Below this spec, geometry detail and complexity will start to downgrade, load times increase and any other number of things may change. Simply transfer that analogy to the here and now in the conso...

If people don't know the difference between theoretical power and speed, they shouldn't be weighing in with their opinions on this matter

Unrelated, but maybe this means we're on the verge of a new PS5 date. Surely that can't be much further away than this?

So any game which has gay characters in it, has an agenda? We had the same comments a few years ago where having a female lead was because of an agenda. Seems there are still a lot of backwards little white boys who can't stand the idea of entering their safe little bubble where everybody looks and sounds like they do. Absolutely pathetic. I'd love for one of them to come on here and articulate (coherently) the ways in which this supposed agenda adversely affects not only this game, b...

I don't want to sound rude, but you used quite a lot of words, just to say, "I don't know the date". Which is the same as everybody else.

It's ok 0s & 1s don't feel pressure. It'll all be ok

Move was shown to be in development years before the Wii controller. It was being used in house at the time of the eye toy. Sony didn't copy anyone with move.

They said target footage. They didn't say it was running on a 2080ti

2059d ago 7 agree1 disagreeView comment

So, Epic show a real time demo running on an actual ps5 and "it's not gameplay!" But the showcase of XSX features cinematics running on a 2080TI, a £1000 GPU, and it's all fine?

I know plenty of women who play games, none of whom fit your description. Your comment is littered with generalisations. Imagine swapping out any reference to women with "black people" and it should hopefully bring your own ignorance into sharper focus

Why is it that people feel so threatened by people wanting equality? Women are under represented in gaming culture. Any attempts to address that imbalance is to be applauded as far as I'm concerned.

@ilostmymind

I was looking over the course of a year and it was very rough

SM £40 in UK. 10m in sales globally is around £400m.

Gamepass £8 pm x 12 X 10m(I think this is the typical price) £960m per year

So yeah, I was wrong I think. But either way. That's still a big dent in MS entire business model with one game

2064d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yup. So Spider-Man alone generated 4x the total revenue of gamepass all by itself. That's not including having to compensate all the develops for a game appearing on the service.

People, please don't click on the link. I nearly fell for it and went on a big rant. Alternate timeline me feels real foolish right about now
