You sound very reasonable and objective
Same. The thunderstorms are jaw dropping
Decima is phenomenal. For me, the best current game engine. Really looking forward to see what they do with raytracing. The RT GI in Shadows is phenomenal though
The next paradigm shift for open world games will come when we're able to have natural unscripted conversations with all the NPCs all with their own personalities. So we can wander into a town with no map and ask someone if the know how to find a place. They might not, but we may have more luck in the tavern which they direct us towards. In the tavern we could ask who might know and we're told about the stranger in the corner. We could ask him to show us the way as our guide and he ag...
Never would the mega drive have run this. This is arcade quality right here
In general, typical people who watch movies and TV shows obviously don't care about this stuff, you're right. If I showed this kind of reaction to one of my none gamer relatives, they'd think this was all some bad parody. But gaming has a problem with idiot mouth breathers, loudly banging their drums, because their hobby has been compromised by the outside world. Bless their precious little feelings.
So the problem is, this wasn't inclusive enough?
What's the ultimate goal of this "agenda"?
Criticising a shaved head is bizarre. Absolutely crazy. Trying to paint this reaction as rational is equally strange. Everyone can see it for what it is. If this what a man with a shaved head, there wouldn't have been a single word written about it
That's the face of a man who knows what he's doing
Why did you put little in quotations?
In VR it's absolutely sensational. Its one of those, "highlights of my gaming life" things
The 0.4% of PC players able to run it, would definitely enjoy it
They said before the start of this financial year that there would be no major first party releases this year and they still released Astrobot and several excellent third part exclusives, such as Stellar Blade. They have already said that for the rest of the PS5s life we'll have multiple flag ship first party releases every year. 2024 just happened to be a year where nothing was ready to release, yet I still had masses to play
If you're playing 10 feet away from a 55" TV there's nothing they can do about that. There's only so much detail your eyes can perceive from that distance. That's why TVs have optimal viewing distances. At not much further than that, you may as well be playing 1080p. There reaches a point where you're not really seeing the difference in pixel count. The only alternative would be for Sony develop Pro eyes for you
Would you say that to someone upgrading g their graphics card? Do you think that there are no more games coming out for PS5
With only something like 1% of Steam users running a 4080, how many people are actually getting a great path tracing experience? Just because features exist on PC doesn't mean it's this widely used technology, that choosing PC as a platform magically grants you access to
As it is still today, people at the time were arguing over resolutions of games. People were using it's cinematic presentation, with black bars top and bottom, as a stick to beat it with. "Running at a lower res because of black bars! The horror". People are pathetic. I get that people begrudge paying full price for a short game. But I really enjoyed it and it still looks great today
Use mine every single day and love it
Omg, so only the people that work in my office account for half of all Pro sales?! Nice!
