I almost feel guilty that my launch 360 still works great (knock on wood).
I can't imagine the frustration of going through all of that...yeah, the poor guy deserves something - a free game, extra HD, a bunch of MS points...
A customer with a complaint is an opportunity to earn a customer for life if it is handled well. It is true about large companies and a few customers falling through the cracks. I've never had a cell company other than Cingular and have nev...
the Wii does not appeal to me either at this time. I have Zelda:TP for the 'Cube, and though I'm sure it is better with the Wii control scheme, there are no other games that look appealing - most have gotten pretty poor reviews.
Once Metroid, Smash Bros. and Mario Galaxy come out, I'll likely be hooked, but I don't see the Wii as appealing for anything but Nintendo properties - kinda like the aforementioned 'Cube.

Two Zeldas, two Metroids, Resident Evil 4...'nuff said.
Loved the first one - I bought it about 9 months after its release after it had dropped to $29.99, and I couldn't believe I waited that long to play it.
EDIT: Wow - I just realized I got another bubble...shucks, guys, I'm blushing!
How do I find out what drive is in my 360?
First I've heard of this game - sounds promising - a space/sci-fi Elder Scrolls type of game. Sounds good.
I know it adds cost to the console, but it is inconvenient as far as space goes to have so many consoles hooked up...a 360, XBOX, PS2, GC, and a DVD player. (Yes, I use a system selector.)
And, if my XBOX dies and I am unable to get it repaired, what happens to my library of 64 games?
It is not a crap game that needed the beta for it to sell. It is a good, solid game in its own right and we would not be having this debate about the games quality if there was no beta.
And, yes, I own the retail copy - bought it yesterday, played it last night, and it is a blast - literally!
I'm not expecting Oblivion, but I'm a sucker for fantasy settings.
and who knows when Fable 2 will come out.
since I base my life choices on what delivery drivers/box handlers think...
Thanks for the laugh! I'm home with the kids today; baby's been fussy...much needed!
I have a 360 and love it, but I do still play my original XBOX for non-back comp games. It works fine now, but eventually it will die..
How is this "news"? This is a link to some pathetic...thing...
it being an unknown quantity. Both look/sound promising, but there hasn't been anything major come out. They are in that obscure stage where a cancelation can happen...best not to get too excited until we get something more concrete. Remember StarCraft: Ghost?
It is necessary for all three consoles to do well for ANY to survive.
No competition = complacency = crappy games = we all move on to something else and gaming companies fold.
So this is good news for all gamers - whether you own a PS3 or not. I currently do not, but I plan on it eventually.
I know you were attacking the MART, who has a tendency to be a bit over-zealous for whatever reason.
I just don't think that most fanboys realize that ...
I love my slim PS2...very sleek, and yes, I love my 360 also ;)
The differences are minor...the point is that everyone will get to enjoy this great game and with the increased sales numbers - a complete new game becomes that much more likely. C'mon guys, shut up and play!
regardless of the graphics or system(assuming it does come to the 360 sometime).
The first game was one of the best multi-platform games of the last generation.
would it be a stretch to believe that the top dog at umbrella is involved in the occult and is receiving revelation from demons/evil spirits? Maybe the T-virus makes beings susceptible to possession by spirits...
Just a few thoughts on how they could incorporate the paranormal/supernatural if they wanted to.
Recently I've been playing some last-gen games - Mercenaries for example on my XBOX, and it is great. But later that same evening, I put in Gears for some LIVE action, and the difference and level immersion is breath-taking.
In Oblivion, I frequently walk to a quest location just to admire the scenery and "be" in that world.
So while a great game does not require graphics approaching photo-realism to be visually appealing (FFXII and Zelda:TP are two gr...
