I don't know why, but I'm really interested in trying this game. All the low review scores make me not want to pay full price for it, but I'm sure GameFly will have it used on sale at some point in a few months for dirt cheap, though. I'll be waiting.
I've really enjoyed Hitman: Absolution, but based on reviews for the game, you either love it or hate it. I'm playing Far Cry 3 and Tokyo Jungle now and those are both great games.

Maybe the reason each region gets different stuff is because they don't want any game to be completely free world-wide. Companies still want gamers to buy their game, so they give it away to one region, expecting to still make money off the other regions.
That's why I rarely buy anything off of PSN now that I have a Plus account. I don't want to buy something only for it to be heavily discounted a week later.. or free.
I use to watch a movie called H.O.T.S. when I was about that age. Not really a porno, but those old 70s sex comedies they would show on late night Cinemax/The Movie Channel. The only thing I remember about it is topless girls playing football.
I don't know. Did you ?
Wow, we watch Netflix most hours of the day here and today, being Christmas, was the ONE day we haven't even tried to use it. Good timing.. for my house, at least.
I've seen the Wii U in stock every time I've went to Walmart the last few weeks, which has been quite a bit with all the Christmas shopping. The Wii U just isn't the highly sought after, must have console the original Wii was.. and I think a lot of the Wii's success was that it was so hard to find. To top it off, I think a lot of uneducated gamers don't even realize it's a new console, but just an add-on to the original Wii that they haven't played in forever.
I'm happy about Retro City Rampage. I heard it was going to be on sale this week and was prepared to spend some money. It was a nice surprise to see it FREE for both the PS3 and Vita.
I love my PS Vita. I love it even more now, because I got a huge discount on LittleBigPlanet Vita and free Retro City Rampage with my Playstation Plus.
If the Vita fails, it's not because it's a bad handheld. It's because Sony dropped the ball in pushing it.
I'm evident of that. I have anxiety issues and don't handle stress very well. When I'm having a bad day, I usually play video games - often violent - to help calm my nerves. A guy I know who spent time in Iraq and suffers from PTSD does the same. It works.
"NO!" said me to that 12 year old kid.
Meh, maybe. That's right before summer and, believe it or not, there are some gamers who actually wander out into the sunlight during summer and stop playing games. A game as big as GTA V might benefit from a March release in that sense and with all the other big March releases, maybe the gaming industry is finally starting to understand that.
GTA V will be a day one purchase for me, for sure, but I have enough games right now that it'll be long after March before I'm done playing them and then GTA V... those March releases will be discounted by the time I'm ready for them.
Exactly. It's one of those things people think is cool to hate, but secretly enjoy it. The popularity of WWE superstars and the ratings it's shows get cannot be denied, no matter how much people want to pretend hate on it. The mere fact you're here posting shows you have interest in WWE.
What Senator Manchin is really saying is "I use guns - so guns are good! I don't play video games - so video games are bad!"
If you want to ban video games for having violent content, then why stop there? Ban TV shows, movies, professional wrestling, let's eliminate the entire military and stop sending troops to other countries where they might witness such violence. Where does it stop? Even if by some miracle a ban on violent video games would be passed...
It's amazing so many people agree with you how great the Vita - myself included, and yet the system is failing sales wise. Sony has dropped the ball getting the word out on what a great handheld it is, especially now that it works with Playstation Plus. It's as though it's not big in Japan, so Sony isn't interested in marketing it so much.
My Walmart sells Far Cry 3 for $60 and Halo 4 for $50. I took this week's Toys R Us ad in with the "Buy 2 select games, save $50" sale so they would price match it. The assistant manager wasn't sure how to ring it up at the cash register, so thinking it would add up right, he just charged me $25 for EACH game. So, I got both games for $50, when I should have paid $60. The assistant manager screwed his company out of $10.
I'm still waiting for WWE Wrestlefest.
I really think we'll see the new Xbox before the end of the year. I mostly think this, because the new Gears Of War comes out in March and, so far, it's the only major exclusive title coming out this year on Xbox. If you think back a few years, Gears Of War 3 was due out in spring, but it was also a year Xbox didn't have much going for it, so they pushed Gears 3 back to Fall to compete with all the other major releases. So, I'm thinking Microsoft got something MAJOR for us ...
