Movies? Watch the news and see all the violent going-ons across seas where they are raping women, murdering child and bombing innocent bystanders. If they want to get rid of violent video games, start by taking them away from all the terrorist, because by our politicians logic, terrorist must be the most badass gamers on the planet.
Like we Sony "fanboys" love the Move, right? Great dust collector.
They got lucky with the original Wii. As a "hardcore" gamer, I dismissed it from the start, just as I have the Wii U. But nobody could have guess that the original Wii and it's motion control would catch on with the non-gaming community and sell like hot cakes.
It was a fluke.
And the Wii U proved it as the console isn't having nowhere near the amount of success the original had, because those non-gamers have absolutely ZERO interest in it...
Idiotic politicians that don't know what they're talking about or doing are a bigger problem than guns.
Playstation Plus is worth keeping and I don't plan to ever cancel, BUT I don't like a company dipping into my bank account without being aware of it. It's irresponsible and difficult to keep an accurate account of your finances that way.
I would have included Batman: Arkham Asylum with it's cheap, plastic, mounted "batarang".
I'm not into Science Fiction, but I absolutely LOVED the first 2 Dead Space games. Kinda looking to see how my finances go right now, but I'm wanting to pick up part 3 for sure.
@DarthJay and @hellvaguy
So, I've been branded a "Sony fanboy" simply for saying Microsoft needs more exclusives? It's that easy? And DarthJay, I never said Saints Row 4 or Darksiders 3 would be a better game, because they are exclusive. There are MANY exclusive titles, for both Sony and Microsoft that I felt sucked. BUT exclusive titles can be.. are you ready for this?.. CONSOLE SELLERS. Imagine the Wii without a Mario game. I bought an Xbox YEARS AGO...
I didn't care for it. Reminded me of another game I didn't care for.. Ninja Gaiden. I'll admit, I didn't play much of either game, cause.. well, I didn't care for what I did play. I'll just pass.
They should. They desperately need more hardcore exclusives and Darksiders and Saint's Row would be a gold mine to them.
I'm definitely in for LittleBigPlanet Karting.. and not to troll, but this is one of the great things about Playstation Plus. People say you're just "renting" games, but if you take advantage of the discounts and pay even a single penny on a game, it's yours for life, regardless if your Plus membership expires. LBP Karting is a great deal at $20, so getting it for $10 is another $10 I'll knock off the price I paid for my Plus membership.
Long story...
I actually agree with you. Games like LBP Karting, Playstation All Stars and Ratchet are almost obvious to be Playstation Plus freebies within the next year or 2. I'm holding off for that very reason.
Depends. To some, nothing at all. To others, like myself, great graphics allow me to immerse myself into the game, which enhances the game play for me. Kinda the same effect music has on people listening to it while they do stuff. It helps ease and relax.
I never got into Uncharted's multiplayer, but the single player campaign was great. Not as good as Uncharted 2's, but still great.
My PS+ is free.. sorta.
Why? Because I've taken advantage of several discounts on stuff I would have happily paid full price for. I've saved more than the cost of my PS+ membership, so it's kinda free at this point. The game "rentals" are just a big bonus.
The PS3 and a game cost about $700 when it first came out, too.. that didn't work out too well for Sony as the PS3 was seen early on as a disaster, before price cuts saved the console.
When I heard about the Vita, knowing how Sony first priced the PS3, I expected it to cost about $400 to $500. I was amazed it was only $250 (for the WiFi only model), which seemed like a reasonable price point to me. So, I think Sony learned something about price points and even though it...
I can see it now.. they'll pass a law practically eliminating violence in video games, maybe even in movies. Then there will be another massacre.. and another.. and instead of saying, "Hey, maybe we were wrong about that" and undo what they did, they'll just move on, find something else to blame and take away that FREEDOM, too. That's how things work in America.
FREE is a 4 letter NO NO in Microsoft's eyes.
I don't care if it's better or not. I've already beat the PS3 version of the game, have moved on to other games and have absolutely no interest whatsoever in revisiting the game.
This isn't about gun control, it's about nuke control. North Korea is threatening to launch a nuke at us, the PS3 is powerful enough to launch of nuke.. Kim Jong-un plays Halo.
Politician logic "He has a PS3!"
(Yes, I know.. Halo is an Xbox exclusive. That's the joke.)
