Yea, great games in 3 years.. take THAT, Duke Nukem Forever!
I live in a rural area and I know of at least 10 RedBox machines within 15 miles of me. So, I'd imagine there are THOUSANDS of these machines out there. To mechanically upgrade ALL of these machines to support double disc would cost the company a FORTUNE. On top of that, we're not far off from the next generation of gaming, which MIGHT eliminate double disc games altogether.
I use RedBox as more of a "try before buy" option anyway. IF Assassins Creed 3 is worth buying, Disc 1 should be enough to tell me that.
Microsoft has gone overboard playing up to the casual market with it's relentless pushing of Kinect. I use to play my Xbox every day.. now I might turn it on once or twice a month, because I use my PS3 for everything Microsoft would like me to use the Xbox for controller-free.
Controller 4 Life!
Agreed. Sony made a lot of mistakes with the PS3.. mistakes they've spent years trying to fix, but let's not forget their track record. The PS2 is still relevant even today.
I traded some games a few weeks ago to get Dishonored.. games that I would have sold on my own for $10 each, which is about all I expected to get from GameStop. I don't know what promotion they had going on at the time, but I ended up getting over $20 each.. more than enough to pay for Dishonored and some left over to pay half of another preorder off.
A lot of people hate on GameStop's trade deals, but you hit them at the right time and you can do well for yourself. ...
I ordered 4 of them lastnight. Got the email this morning telling me to goto Zrewards to redeem my bonuses. Did that, then got more emails with the VUDU codes in them. Everything worked! I got about $20 in VUDU credit right now that I paid only $1.48 for after tax.
Worthless swag. If you're that die hard on having one, eBay will be your savior.
I bought Bully: Scholarship Edition on release day and never had a problem with it. I guess I got lucky.
RELEASE A DEMO!!!
Wrestling is a lot more popular than people want to admit. WWE sells out events all over the world. It's website and Facebook pages get more hits than most legit sports organizations. Millions watch it on TV every week and the video games are always top sellers. And who didn't grow up knowing who Hulk Hogan was?
But people act as though they're ashamed of being a fan and still hide in the closet about it. Kinda dumb if you ask me. If you like something, be prou...
Weak update, IMO. They've been slacking the past month or so. Let's hope they give us something amazing by the end of the month.
If it relies on Kinect as much as the current Xbox seems to do, it won't be my top dog. I use to favor Xbox over PS3. But then it became Kinect this and Kinect that. Now I hardly ever turn the Xbox on and I use my PS3 every day.
I'm sure you have to take into account other factors, @Nutsack. Fees, taxes and the like. I don't know the laws over in Europe, so I don't know how that works, but if Sony charges more in Europe, my bet is that they're trying to make up for additional expenses.
Sorry, but not everyone gets sarcasm, -Mika-.
My wife and I use to watch porn while having sex. The sex was always better and it gave us ideas to try new things. It's a major WIN! Don't deny it, try it.
I fully expect the beta to be made available to Playstation Plus subscibers, just like the MOH beta was.
Obviously Nintendo has it's fans, just look at the original Wii's sales, DESPITE lack of 3rd party support. So awesome pre-order stats are no surprise. What will be interesting is if the Wii U owners will actually BUY games this time, which they didn't do for the Wii and how it'll stand against future console releases.
I just bought a used copy from GameFly the other day for 20 with free shipping.
Awesome! And just in time for the Vita's Instant Game Collection that is suppose to be out in November.
