This is one of the things I hated most about the COD franchise & Counter Strike Series, immature jackasses creating things that illustrated...

Pot, Sodomy, Murder, Imature Slang, Pornography, & Nudity. I love the idea of personalization, but when put in the hands of people who aren't capable of making a responsible decision they ruin it for people who don't want to deal with it.

If they add a feature to Ignore a decal by gamer tag or substitut...

I do this to myself all the time, I'm not sure if it's a component of my leisure time dwindling or that some things just don't interest me as much anymore... but I am totally guilty of getting all jacked up to do something in a new video game and reducing the components of the activity to me thinking to myself "i'm just wasting time". I manage to reduce the shroud of the experience to it's individual parts, slowly removing what makes it so damned fun.

I think it would be a pretty incredible dynamic and experience if they introduce the capability to be involved in law enforcement online. Player thefts, kills, heists, and other crimes come across the radio and you are awarded for aprehending tbe perpetrator. Melee attacks that result in handcuffing and police cars, i would love to see a component of the online include this. Lofty I know, but i can dream damnit lol.

I remember silly little balance shifts that changed popular build types to introduction of runewords altering how people mf'ed and even dumb stuff like finding an etheral perfect templars might & upgrading it on ladder... the game was seriously incredible in the amount of variety you could find and the time you could dump into a character and your account.

You aren't a true gamer unless you can play easily on both.

It's smaller than my DirecTV Genie...

It looks like it belongs near my TV. I'm a fan of the aesthetic of the XB1 compared to PS4 and don't believe that there is a consumer out there that is looking at this as the buying factor.

I played Diablo 2 for soo many years, and my brother continued to do so well after me.

I could have an absolute nerd fest talking about Diablo online lol

The only thing about your post I don't like is the title of the games, which isn't to say you have bad taste or that they will be poor games... but I would love to see some new intriguing games being introduced. Every name on that is an extension of a pre-existing franchise. Except maybe "x" I have no idea what that is.

I know there are some great projects being worked on, I'm looking at you Destiny, that are new. It would be wonderful to see more studio...

As somebody who in the past worked in a Distribution Center I can vouch for the tremendous amount of logistics and planning that goes into putting these units where they need to be at launch.

I remember working at Target and ripping open Pallets of 360's & PS3's so they could then be repacked separately into store specific boxes. Lead time for Distribution Centers alone is probably 1-2 weeks from Purchase Order > Shipping > Inbound > Processing > Stagi...

andrew, all the magic happens in the Kinect... resources housed within the XB1 such as the ram will not be burdened by it's being connected.

Elite, he isn't knocking the cloud one way or the other. Cleft is talking about a selling point. The buying decision should be fueled by the value you get from the console, value resulting from post-purchase games.

In terms of games, he is saying that he believes the launch lineup for XB1 is better than the PS4's. If Microsoft redirects attention to games, they have a better shot at moving units.

From a logical standpoint we can clearly see that ther...

I wonder if an HD Install like was required on 360 would be a viable option to improve the presentation of the game

The 1080P 60 FPS vs. 720P 30FPS is moot.

I can run the hell out of a stick figure in 1080p with 60 fps and you wouldn't prefer it much to the 720p 30fps counterpart. Concept & design play a larger role in how a game looks and Destiny appears to have captured a unique perspective on both art & application.

Starchild has every right to say that visually, they are more impressed with this game. In terms of what this game is (Non-Linear Gameplay, Larg...

Counter-Knifing is a silly reason to keep you from the game... who would play solely to knife anyway?

I agree that is would be frustrating to feel like you had somebody bested but there needs to be a response to the attack. I imagine it will be balanced by shortening the window of response as well as doing a "roll" to determine if it would be an immediate death for the knife attacker or simply a stalemate where both parties a...

I was curious if possibly it was that game mode only, but it's past due that it be brought into the game to any extent.

There shouldn't be 12 guys sitting on top of an M-Com while it explodes and they walk away unscathed. It's a combat simulator to an extent and realism shouldn't be thrown to the wind in exchange for an arcade style element.

I hope it extends to all game modes.

I saw a lot in this that I liked, that I didn't already know where there

"Last Man in Squad" Hugely helpful for team play & respawn

A Rolling Point Counter for Ribbons, makes that 200 points feel bigger

Panic Knifing is now just as likely to save your life as it is to end it

Objectives are more clear when assigned

Bomb explosions now kill

Microsoft has more invested in their online servers than Sony. That being said, Sony could easily develop a system that reduces latency for offloading computations and streamlines the systems to boost performance.

Microsoft has been more committed to the "cloud" than Sony however, look at their Annual Reports to verify. It's what they believe is the future of hardware and they are acting on it.

Both consoles can utilize the service, Microsoft h...

You Sony supporters sure are a fickle lot.

I gotta hand it to Sony though, they did a much better job presenting their console and allowing the backlash to fall on MS for their direction... before they themselves followed suit.

I think Voice acting lends heavily to immersion, particularly in quest & story elements.

I could do without mindless chatter between story driven moments as it can be repetitive, but if it were more organic I think it would be great.

Excited for this game.
