I imagine that the claim that the PS4 controller was better was a product of the bandwagon hatred poured over MS. I can't believe that either controller will be bad, people who have gamed on a PS3 for the better part of the decade will prefer the DualShock while 360 users will opt for the XB1's shape, size, and layout. The feedback from this site has been a misleading "justification" by people that picking sony was the better choice.

Correct, they are not in the advertising business. Do they have a source of revenue that is generated from it... certainly. Bing is an attempt at the cash cow that google has with their search engine, the only form of capitol gain they get from it is for paid advertising and SEO. It sounds like you didn't enjoy certain game types... there is definitely a learning curve that makes the game harder to get into than some of the more arcade like competitors. That being said, there is absolutely a game mode that better suits your habits, tendencies, and preference.

Microsoft isn't in the business of being an Advertising Company being compensated for generating qualified Ad Impressions. They don't want to be, their market lies in ancillary products, downloadable content, XB live, and AAA Titles. Why would they bother creating servers to house all the data to begin with... the NSA isn't going to get Microsoft government tax breaks to catch me picking my nose while my wife yells at me to pause Storage Wars so she won't miss anything.

Why would Microsoft design a product to spy on us... they are not an advertising company that makes their money on ad impressions. They stand to gain nothing from it. Dont be silly. I need a list of exclusives for PS4, as a compelling reason to think about switching. I've never kept up with any of their exclusive games because I haven't owned one, and short of being given a list that makes sense to me, I won't take the time to even look.

I think Microsoft believes that the future is a connected one. Our phones, computers, and even some televisions are almost always online. It isn't a leap to think that the XB1 could be as well. I couldn't agree more. Even with some of the negativity around their release, games like Titanfall, Forza, Halo, and Dead Rising 3 look too good to pass up.
If MS gets a deal signed with a cable provider and can package the XB1 into a 2 year agreement with another company, I think some crazy possibilities are still available.
