Being that they are a hardware manufacturer, with a supply chain and tons of experience in the market, you would think they could handle a new product launch.
It seems like everything these days is nearly unusable at first.
Early adopters suffer through the growing pains of every new gadget and electronic device, be them video games, cell phones, or consoles.
It is the major reason I am going to hang back in the wings before I buy a new console or a video game at launch.
You just watched a video highlighting the changes and modifications they made to previous Elder Scroll titles... and your take away was:
"Simply no different from previous titles."
Please return to the cool comfort of your cave.
Microtransactions = paying for what you want.
Heaven forbid we be appeased with any pay structure.
I think they will do just fine with this generation. In fact, I think Sony will do better in the long run with Microsofts direction.
Microsoft can expand it's customer base without cutting into hardcore gamers who prefer Sony while increasing the exposure to video games among people who otherwise may not get an opportunity or be initially interested.
I expect to see more and more "horrific" reports of system failure for both consoles, as users of each look to discredit and one up each other.
Prediction, tomorrow an XB1 Fanboy will take a photograph of their sleeping dog and post it with the caption 'PS4 Reportedly Killing Pets'... which will be followed the day after by a PS4 Fanboy videotaping themselves Fapping in the living room claiming their Kinect uploaded it without them knowing.

The guy stated that he sent it in a message to one of his buddies, I imagine it isn't too hard to flag something as offensive...
Maybe he flagged it, or maybe Microsoft is running some code designed to clean up their online services... I am going to hold judgment on this issue until there are more instances of people being banned for their casual conversations amongst friends or it's confirmed that he sent a message that was flagged by another user.
I would be much more impressed if it didn't look like he tries to do this thing all the time... after the clip plays you can see some of the other times he managed to do it.
I don't say this to discredit him, I don't think I would have much luck trying it myself... but if you isolated some of the kills I have had you would think i was incredible when in reality I'm probably on a 55 - 45 win/loss ration with a barely above 1 k/d lol
I am stunned you have soo many disagree's. Well Said. Structured the argument well and I would think even a Sony fanboy would see the logic behind it, but I suppose now with how much negativity we have here. I would imagine that Sony at some point could squeeze a bit more out of the CPU if they could increase the air-flow and fan speed... but who knows how loud that would get. From some of the video's it would take the Decibel level from a Jet Engine to a Rocket Launch.
Thank you for doing this, I was about to do the same until I saw that you had taken care of it.
Angels3785, the world would be a better place.
Then Nintendo could stop producing sub-par gaming consoles, and focus on developing games and apps for Sony & Microsoft. Increasing the install base of those that could enjoy their game catalog.
A lot of people don't understand competition, or basic capitalism. If Sony out guns Microsoft soo badly, MS bows out. Another company will step into the void left behind. I don't think it will happen that way, as it is an extreme, but out performing on visuals in multi-platforms will force MS to find another way to give us the "value" we need to continue buying games for their system and not switching to their competitor.
I hope Sony turns up the heat, and M...
How is NBA 2k14 rated below Madden 25>
Mind boggling.
I would imagine that many Exclusive titles get poor ratings and votes by fanboys prior to release do to an agenda.
For whatever reason many tech consumers make buying decisions primarily based on a distaste of one product versus a greater perceived interest in another.
This was a really great surprise for me when I discovered it on XB Live, glad it's making it's way over to PC for more to enjoy it.
I would suggest this game to anybody who enjoys RPG elements blended into other genre's and doesn't mind a good Zombie bashing.
Has some great re-playability and enough content you will miss to make it worth your while to explore.
Don't go makin' phony calls, stick to the 7-digit numbers you used to dial.
I should probably qualify myself a bit here. I have never played God of War, only seen clips here and there. I prefer Microsoft to Sony as well, so it's not me knocking the company either.
But MS doesn't really have a high profile representation in the hack n' slash genre. Story aside, the game play looks to be similar as do many of the theme elements although it makes sense to lend themselves as much as possible to a successful IP like God of War.
Am I the only person that looks at Ryse as Microsoft's knock off of God of War?
Setting the stage to downplay XB1 matching PS4 presentation early eh
Why would they buy a $500 console to tie themselves over until a $400 console was available?
There isn't a heck of a lot out yet on XB1 that would make it worth the money. Next year maybe, but picking up a game for a 360 or PS3 would make a lot more sense.
