I hope they recreate what they did with BF3 and refine it slightly.

I would never pay for a map-pack, but I would pay for more game modes, class options, and weapons... so long as they weren't a gimmick.

I don't mind seeing DLC development prior to release so long as it's just concepts and brainstorming... but I disagree that resources like designers & programmers should be committed to it before the game itself is in stores.

Everybody should be on board making this game run as smoothly and beautifully as possible until release.

The only circumstance that committing these resources to DLC makes sense is if they have moved past their respective por...

@ Dedicatedtogamers

"Celebrity endorsers also are addressed in the revised Guides. While the 1980 Guides did not explicitly state that endorsers as well as advertisers could be liable under the FTC Act for statements they make in an endorsement, the revised Guides reflect Commission case law and clearly state that both advertisers and endorsers may be liable for false or unsubstantiated claims made in an endorsement – or for failure to disclose material connections betwe...

How is it that none of these Sony fanboys understand how a product endorsement works?

JokesOnYou seems to be the only person with intelligent insight.

In traditional media endorsement are used every day,

Mike Rowe puts his name next to Ford...
Betty White puts her name next to Snickers...
RG3 puts his name next to Subway...
Ron Jeremy & Jimmy Johnson endorse ExtenZe...
Lance Armstron endorsed Michelob Ultra...

Apparently people don't understand how traditional media handles endorsement advertising.

This is happens everyday, and you watch it without crying unless it has Microsoft connected to it...

Do you really think, or care for that matter that:

Peyton Manning endorses Papa Johns?
Michael Bolton endorses Honda?
Jeff Bridges endorses Hyundai?
Shaq endorses Double Stuff Oreos?
Betty White endorses Snickers?

I really enjoyed the first 2 halos, didn't get into any beyond that.

Halo is the perfect example of an amazing IP that if treated right could do wonders for Microsoft. It would do well with a few years on the shelf and being revisited down the line when dev's a more competent with this new generation.

I have seen some games where the format fits perfectly, giving me the opportunity to try something and pay if I like it... and only pay what I want to in order to keep it relevant and exciting.

The same could be said of BF3 at it's release and early goings, I waited a while to pick it up in late 2011 and I still bury hours into it.

It's a quality product with vast inconsistencies. I think it will level off in terms of the bugs and people will be very happy with the product, just difficult to invest in it early and not get out of it what you want.

There is no story associated with this article, why was this approved?

If they developed a rare unique drop system, with a more customizable skill system while raising difficulty I probably wouldn't rush the story as much.

I found the multi player to be tremendously fun and addictive.

I think we will see fewer Zombie related games and movies the moment AMC lets Daryl Dixon die.

Why wouldn't people want an additional game mode...

There is all this talk of patches, patches come from coders. Leaving the designers to twiddle their thumbs. Put them to work on something they could have fun expressing themselves with without the bounds of reality while providing BF4 players with more game modes and a greater return on investment in terms of re playability and value.

Hell, maybe you would even wind up seeing COD sales take a hit from pe...

Sony still sits on par with Apple for me, I wouldn't pay a dollar for 1 of their products.

Starcraft Ghost has soo much potential, particularly with the new console generation launched and some of the advancements in game engines.

Future for the FPS genre has never been brighter.

I'm alright with his score, i'm just not impressed with how he came up with it. It looks arbitrary.

A review should be broken down, weighted, and explained.

For ex.

Story = 1 points
Multiplayer = 9 points
Visuals = 8 points
Sound = 8 points
Engine = 9 points
Level Design Single Player= 8 points
Level Design Multi Player = 7 points
Replayability = 1 points
x-Factor = 9 poi...

Not much of a review, more a complaint, followed by a disqualifying statement and a complete cop-out to the game being buggy.

Early adopter = bugs.

Why wouldn't he just wait till the game has been out for a bit, it's not like that website is getting paid by Dice or EA to provide positive feedback for their product that would help drive sales. He might want to revisit how to write a review as well, one that identifies the components of a game and grade...

@ N2NOther

Did lots of games launch with large scale combat (32 players per team), top end visuals (Upscaled 1080P & 60 FPS), clean presentation (Dynamic Destruction, Character Modeling, Voicing, Dynamic Organic), and an upgraded game engine (Frostbite 3)?

Or did you miss the point asmith206 was making in that Dice sets the bar higher for other Dev's with what they are trying to do, and will continue to roll out patches and updates to streamline and f...

I feel like I could go out today and within 2 hours find and buy a PS4 if I actually wanted one. I think everybody has their panties in a bunch over pre-orders.

Pre-Orders don't mean a thing if you don't fulfill your commitments. Build the units and get them into customer's hands, that's the name of the game.
