The sharing feature most people are attacking was restricted to physical copies of games that, connected to DRM, would be uploaded to the cloud and shared.

Digital copies on XB1 will have the same access as Digital copies on PS4. Licenses are tied to accounts, not consoles. Move account to friends PS4 or XB1, download the copy to said device and play. This article is troll bait and isn't anything tremendously unique to either console.

I meant no disrespect with my comments, just felt like the emphasis was misleading.

You may want to mention that the inclusion of UPlay on PSN makes the game easier for Playstation owners and all PVP matches suffer from latency issues.

I am not level 50 fame so you may be right, but all the gear I can look at now shows me a level requirement that will only cost me a small amount of silver at that level.

The multiplayer was strategic as well, it has my vote for an older game to reintroduce. Especially with the audience for shooters today.

Article is mistaken.

You do NOT need to spend Gold, the number shown next to equipment that requires gold is the level requirement at which that item costs only silver. By leveling up you make every item in the game available.

The only thing you need to spend gold on is additional gladiator spots after you unlock 4 paying just silver or to recruit legendary gladiators via the story mode after you defeat them. You don't ever need to spend gold or money to...

I wouldn't be surprised to see Micro-Transactions in the game, it is a great way to combat subscription fee's and gives dev's reasons to add more material to the game.

I seriously suggest Freedom Fighter to anyone, one of the most fun games I had played on PS2. I would love to see the game come to the next gen, preferably to both consoles.

This is a game that would be wonderful on the latest iteration of Frostbite.

I'd argue you should have some more, but I totally agree. Life is too chaotic to live paycheck to paycheck, although it's understandable that people have to at times. Women get pregnant, jobs get lost, cars break down, and the human body breaks down... too many variables to live by the seat of your pants. Good post Talamak.

As least they are dumping the point system, no need for them to run their own currency other than to exploit the pricing structure of how it's bought. I hope they ideally opt for a structure like that of Googly Play or the iTunes store, Making it easier for people to spend money and more convenient.

Any step toward that is a step in the right direction, luckily for me I don't hoard any MS Points and only get them when I want something.

I agree that a controller in your hand is the best way to play, but i disagree that the Kinect has nothing to offer a game like BF4.

If the Kinect offers ancillary control ability, ones that are represented via controller or aided by controller, I am all for it.

I'm talking about the ability to lean when crouched, or similar useful but not necessary movements. I think you are right that gamers don't want to be jumping, crouching, or turning using some...

Wasn't this in Ocarina of Time for N64? Or do I just remember that game differently?

But for a console that is projected to have a lifespan of 10 years, $100 dollars is a minuscule expense. If you look at buying a next gen console as an investment in your entertainment for years to come it becomes much more digestible.

You figure you spend $8-12 to go to the movies for 1.5-2 hours of entertainment. If you went to the movies, alone, 10 times over the next decade you already pissed away the cost difference between the PS4 and the XB1. Depending upon the value ...

@ JBSleek

Yes. Unless you played exclusives anything that was a multi-play didn't need to be blu-ray. I agree with your argument that the format was pushed on everybody.

@HyperBear

The industry adopted blu-ray over the HD Format as the standard. That wasn't a failure on the 360's part. It offered it as an ad-on and not an integral part of the system, which proved to be the much better option. The XB1 needs to allow for this gener...

The biggest reason I love BF more the COD is the opportunity for a specialty. You can be a great tank driver, helicopter gunner, or jet fighter. Sniping requires skill, team work yields success, and you can't just pick up the controller and be the best. The learning curve gives people who play the game more often a head-start in being productive.

Aside from that, the community is more mature & organized. Server's are supported better. The engine is smooth and beau...

The list is outrageous... I would have liked to see something a little more realistic. There is an opportunity for somebody to make a good list. Maybe I'll edit this later with my own.

I am going to nominate Portal as the game. With an interesting Real-Time Puzzle based game play with unique mechanic this game could easily become more difficult than the rest of the pack.

It's easy to say a game is hard when you play it on an unlocked difficulty setting called "Impossible" "Insane" or "Unbeatable" but that doesn't inherently make the game more difficult, just the mode.

You could nominate any game with th...

If MS steps onto the stage and pulls a bench test of an XB1 utilizing the cloud from a computational stand point and it truly amplifies the power of the console, I think this whole conversation changes direction.

That being said, they need to get themselves straight in terms of informing the public about their cloud. Fewer buzz words and more practical application for the now. What will the Cloud do for us gamers out of the box... what would make us want to buy one on day one...

I love variety, just dont have the time that I used to. Probably wont buy either console for a year or so after they launch. I think that is probably the best bet in the long run anyway. Reduced costs, ironed out issues, patches, and library will be more full.

After reading this article, I can tell you 1 thing I do know. I'm still not going to buy one.

I haven't seen any exclusives that I need to play.
