Kinda hope they pick a character to follow that they're not just going to kill off, too. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a sad ending, but it just seemed like such a generic zombie-genre end to Lee's story. It's not like they got to know each other well enough for her to remember him as anything other than one of her many surrogate caretakers that she's likely to meet in the rest of her traumatic life.

It was a stupid comment, no doubt, but then people make stupid comments on the internet ALL THE TIME and are not consequently pressured into quitting their jobs most of the time.

When it comes to anything online related, Nintendo is basically the 90 year old man that sits on his porch talking about "kids these days" and their new-fangled Myspaces and Googlers, and his grandchildren are slowly teaching him how to check his email when they visit once a month.
Yeah, that's what SHOULD happen. We all know what's actually going to happen, though...they're going to look for shallow ways to "expand" the audience and inevitably put in some nickel-and-dime DLC bullcrap to squeeze a few extra slimy bucks out of us.
No amount of integrity from companies like CD Projekt is ever going to get the mega-companies like EA from looking at consumers with anything other than big, blinking dollar signs in their eyes.

It just seems like if they were able to make WHATEVER they wanted without the corporate fat-cats pushing them to steal a fanbase from another franchise (Heavenly Sword -> GoW, Enslaved -> Uncharted, DmC -> DMC) they could make something really great.
I know, it's absolutely ridiculous. A lot of people are assuming that Wii U owners are just unreasonably angry that the game is not going to be exclusive, but really people are just pissed that they're going to have to wait another half a year to get a game that was originally in the "launch window," because Ubisoft lied their asses off.

Yeah, I liked it too. DmC made me realize how great the Andy Serkis/Alex Garland collaboration was. The characters and story were just so much more interesting in Enslaved.

Violent video games don't cause violence. There is some evidence to suggest that it can stimulate aggression...to the same degree that sports or music or movies or even talking to people can incite similar emotions. It's honestly a ridiculously insulting vendetta that these parents and politicians are pursuing and it takes attention away from the real issues behind these shootings.

I like the art style (kinda reminds me of Jak and Daxter), but I'm pretty much through with the MMO scene until there's a serious shake-up. I've bought into the promise of "revolutionary" gameplay one too many times to get excited for these anymore.
It's still sad, however stupid his comment was, that people are so sensitive to opinions that they are effectively able to run other people out of their jobs if enough disagree.

Yeah, definitely needs to be pretty far up there. Also I loved the Tales games, but I think I'd move them a little ways down the list next to some of those other selections. Xenoblade, Ni No Kuni, The World Ends With You, and Valkyria Chronicles were just...so damned good.
