Regardless of whether or not that photo is topical or not...it seems about right, doesn't it?
What an ironic statement.
I will help you GeoHot. Give me your address and a time when you will be home.
...let me just assure you that everything's going to be alright and I hope you like pepperoni.
Ok, but do any of you know how hot the Great Fairy is going to look sans the Madonna honkers?
Many a 13 year old boy will be playing this game one handed, I can tell you that.
What did Valve do to you, anonymous? Let me guess. They had the gall to tell you that leaking and pirating their game was illegal and immoral, didn't they?
It really is just a bunch of 4channers and Something Awful frequenters. These stories got WAY more attention here than they should have, I agree.
God help us all if mobile gaming is taken over by the phones. I mean yes these games are cheap, but 9 times out of 10 it's easy to tell WHY they are so much cheaper than the more fleshed out, full price games from Nintendo and Sony.
So let me get this straight. Anonymous donated money to "the cause" and now "the cause" has a nice, juicy settlement AND a pile of donations...and lol at "the cause" masking the fact that he's been completely banned from using Sony products by labeling it "boycotting."
Anonymous, keep up the fine, fine work, gents.
It really depends on the price, whether Sony believes it or not. Both companies are sort of losing touch with the handheld market, if you ask me.
Handhelds don't really NEED to be exponentially more powerful than their previous iterations. They need to be cheap and offer a library of genres that are generally overlooked on the home consoles. It's what the market has always thrived on. I mean, if I wanted something like a good JRPG or a good puzzle game this gen, I al...
Not as deep as New Vegas? You sound like the Armond White of the gaming world.
What do you expect? It's a group that thrives on the cowardly ideology of anonymity. It's not really even accurate to call them a "group." It's just a bunch of people working under the same monicker to achieve their own individual interests.
Hopefully all this nonsense will finally get people to realize how crackpot "anonymous" really is...though I'm sure the next time the name "anon" pops up after a kitten is saved out of a tree,...
Scans are already down, unfortunately.
@ButterBomb
If Sony is breaking the law, then you take action openly and through the proper channels. You don't throw in with a faceless band of lawless misfits with a social structure (or lack thereof) that is more prone to abuse than the one they are attempting to bring down.
Why did they make her look like a stripper at a LOTR-styled strip joint?
@Biggest
Couldn't have said it better myself.
@Liefx
It doesn't really matter if "some" of anon is in it for the right reasons. Anon is anarchical and structureless meaning no order or rules can be enforced upon it, and given human nature there will always, ALWAYS be people that will take advantage of chaos in terrible ways when it presents itself.
Anon is simply not the right way to go about getting things changed. It's a cowards form of revolution and it's too easily abused. It...
Do yall get this kind of stuff regularly...because honestly the only video game related news I can expect to get on any of my local channels is about how it's turning our children into tiny Ted Bundy's.
I don't know why there are so many articles similar to this one. It's not really all that revolutionary, but I didn't know anyone was claiming that it was in the first place. It does do a very good job of keeping the core mechanics more interesting throughout the campaign than most shooters, I'll say that.
People need to realize that all these rants are falling on deaf ears. I can almost 100% guarantee that these attacks are not actually fueled by the ideology that they are helping make the world a better place. It's simply a false pretense for "anonymous" (the douchebags of the internet) to do what they do best: douchebaggery.
Spend an hour at /b/ and you'll understand. Or better yet, don't spend an hour at /b/, take my word for it and save yourself the ...
It doesn't really matter whether some people fit games into their narrow definition of art or not. Videogames ARE art. They are pieces of creativity translated to a given medium to be experienced and interpreted by third parties. Whether or not the medium functions differently from other mediums is irrelevant given that the goal and end result is the same as all other art forms. Video games fit the exact same criteria. Our individuality and personal experiences denote how we will interpre...
