While Sony's conference was fantastic, Nintendo's definitely left me more excited.
...can't they work on making better games instead?
@mikepmcc: It would make sense that a hardware manufacturer would focus on better 'software' for the 'hardware'. Read: Nintendo & Sony.
@deadreckoning666: I hear ya, Halo Reach is a day one for me. Just wish MS gave current 360 owners more reasons to play it rather than spending resources to make cheaper 360's for newcomers.
Can't wait.
It's amazing how consistent they are.
An FPS'ers dream game.
No, you do not lose LBP if you stop the subscription. That only applies to the PSN titles.

They've already tried toning down E3. It was a disaster. Other consumer shows of similar formats work fine, why can't we just keep E3 the way it is?
They're not desperate. They're rewarding early adopters with a free game. The deal only lasts a few days. Hardly 'desperate' more like 'awesome'.
Does it also use 10% LESS JET-ENGINE SOUNDS?
Nice find! Definitely looking forward to this.
True. He's just a tech journalist with a taste for swag. Microsoft knows what they're doing when it comes to bribing media opinion.
He must be really enjoying the free 360 slim he got to post a trash article like this.
Everyone knows Sony and Nintendo's conferences were much better. I'm approving this out of sheer humor.
DAY ONE.
Thank you Nintendo.
This game looks insane...AND it's 3D??
Wow.
Yeah it's a greasy move. The reality is, Microsoft needs to pull this kind of thing to keep their gamer base. Without incentives like these I'd expect many hardcore-CoDer's would eventually switch to the PS3.
At the end of the day, gamers own a PS3 for *PS3 games*. Just because I have to wait a month for DLC doesn't mean I'm tossing my PS3 with the likes of Killzone 3, MoH, Dead Space 2 and other PS3-lead titles.
There's just too much...
First they steal glossy-paint and touch sensitive buttons, now THIS?
I guess imitation IS the best form of flattery.
I'm surprised, a new concept for the skateboarding genre that might actually work.
If anyone can pull this off, Ubisoft can. Canada's got a lot of developer talent.
I was thinking the same thing. Can't MS try something new?
Funny though, that Sony realized the glossy paint and touch-sensitive buttons weren't popular with PS3 owners and got rid of them with the slim. MS's re-design seems to be replicating early Sony's mistakes.
My bad. Didn't clue in that Microsoft cherry-picks numbers.
For sure, not to mention those who've already pre-ordered MoH won't even get these codes till EA ships 'em. According to my local EB Games no one knows anything about them.
