Pretty sure I played this years ago when it was on Newgrounds. Fun? Yes. Anticipated? Unfortunately not.
With all the excellent PSN content I can't say I care anymore. Castle Crashers may be a star on XBLA, but PSN offers some incredible gaming experiences that dwarf Castle Crashers. I'll buy it when it's on sale.
Beta's like this are always delayed/sites are down. I don't know why I was expecting this one to go smoother.
Heh, yeah 720p x 2 = 1400 + 30 (pixel gap) = 1280 x 1470!
I should mention this article seems to refute the recent claim that GT5 is 1080P @ 60FPS. Games running 3D at 1080P can only do 24hz (or 24 FPS). See pic: http://www.thesixthaxis.com...
Sony's own presentation says the 3D SDK only supports 720P@60hz and 1080P@24hz.

Hmm, interesting article. I wonder if these social networking games burn their players out faster than other online persistant-world games do.
Microsoft forgot to invest in the future, rather they invested in the 'now'. 'Now' has passed, they've lost developers (read: Bungie), barely able to keep exclusives with out handing out cash for petty 'timed DLC', and now resorting to giving away consoles to buy journalistic support. While they might have won the 'now' (ie. early support) MS seems to be struggling to future proof their console.
Eventually the PS3 will outsell the 360, it...
PLEASE
If Nintendo's smart they've realized these features are the future of gaming. I can personally say that if Nintendo implements a mandatory achievement system across all 3DS games I'll be hooked.
Good point.
However, for the most part consoles are substitute goods. This just means that as the sales of one goes up the other goes down. If PS3 continues to trend and the 360 loses steam expect the gap to close much, much quicker, especially (my prediction) in 2 years time.
Because if celebrities go on camera praising 'something' people will buy it. The 360 is a mass marketed machine, many people buy it just 'cause it's 'cool'. This only helps maintain that image to the general public.
Haha, when someone of your wit only has two bubbles I can tell you really have hit the 360 fanboys deep.

More time to play MoH, I guess.
Cloud gaming is too far in the future for critical mass. But an increase in (primarily) the US's internet infrastructure will make that an eventual reality. Plus the hype around the iPhone 4 is unwarranted. It might carve a chunk of the casual market but hardcores will never ditch a PSP or 3DS for an iPhone.
This is a classic example of someone outside the industry making more 'doom and gloom' predications. Those inside the industry see the future a bit more clear...
Bubbles for 'faggotry'.
Nice, Silent Hill: Alan Wake Edition.
Hopefully they'll include a strap with the game so you can tuck your balls when while you play--it helps you hit those high notes.
Thanks casual gaming market for ruining our industry!
=/
@MaideninBlack: Touche.
Yeah people in the EA & GameSpot forums are crapping bricks over this.
Why can't a developer ever pull of a successful day one beta?
