Agreed. As long as their are still some rewards that require skill rather than 'time' though.
Hate to turn CoD into WoW where the all-day basement-gamers horde (no pun intended) all the good items while the rest of us pro-gamers pwn noobs in battlegrounds for little returns.
Yep, most people missed the point. Sad really. I gotta stop reading N4G, it's starting to get painful.
Not to mention EA Sports in BC, Eidos Montreal (Dues Ex), THQ Montreal and Relic in BC.
GTX 460 is the way to go.
Sounds like butthurt fanboys to me.
I've beaten both ME1 and 2, and while ME1 does a good job of setting up the story for ME2, it's nothing you can't just read about in a wiki summary.
ME2 does a good job of deepening the ME story without depending too much on past events.
Not sure if you've ever played a Blizzard game before, but they'll often strive to not only squash bugs early, but to balance the game. It's called 'listening to the community and reacting accordingly'. Other developers could take note.
What about my warpgate rush? =(
More likely it's probably the difference between shipped vs sold. PD might be using 'shipped', while VGCHARTZ uses NPD results (sold).
It's because of noobs who don't understand the game industry. Square Enix probably had little to nothing to do with Kane & Lynch or Just Cause 2. They just provided the funds for the developers (Avalanche and IO) to develop the game.
Please tell me this is coming to Canada. What an insane deal--grab Blur and use the $40 card to get RDR + Transformers @ 50% off.
It's because the government forgot some people actually have 360's over there--not just PS3's.
Yeah I remember this being a big sleeper hit back in the day.
The trailer was awesome. If they can pull off a mature and dark Bond story (like Casino/Quantum) I might actually start anticipating this.

Uh, it signifies exactly that. Jordan's a legend, and NBA 2K11 is associating that legendary status with their franchise--a smart move.
More importantly, what does name changing 'NBA ELITE' sound like? Not only does it cheapening the EA franchise, it seems like a lame attempt masquerade NBA LIVE's failings. Crap by any other name is still crap, EA.
Or you can through all these headphones out and go AX PRO.
I told myself I was done after 12, but after seeing 13 I knew I had to try it---now I'm f'in done.
Thanks for nothing Square.
I think it's because the gaming industry doing really have any analysts, so any guy with an MBA and a desire to be famous can claim 'WoW will only hit 4 million subscribers' and get away with it.
This is how you develop games: do it simultaneously. Until of course your tech maxes out the 360, then you go lead PS3.
If you want to be a competitive developer this is how you do it (see Visceral & DICE). Otherwise you're stuck with old tech and eventually struggle to compete.
If you disagree challenge my opinion instead of labeling this as trolling. I'd be interested in hearing your own opinion on console-led development.
Yeah, Halo Wars was pretty good, but I think the fact the MS took Ensemble a developer who always had a proven track record, and basically threw Halo at them then disbanded them right after they were done, it's kinda like 'use and abuse'. If Ensemble stayed independent they could have completed Halo Wars then maybe ventured out with a new RTS IP. Who knows?
When I visited the UK/Ireland I noticed it's all about Sony over there. The 360 was the american-frat boy console for dbags--not flaming, just a general perception I found over there.
Makes sense to cater to Sony fanboys over there.
