So it'll be "available soon"? When's that?
Can't wait, PSN Plus: I'm game.
That is all.
...for those who can't buy every system there is most definitely something to fight for. Fanboys are fighting to prove their judgement was right with whatever console they bought.
Unfortunately fighting to prove themselves right blinds them to the spectacular games on other systems. God of War, Alan Wake and Killzone to name a few.
It's really unfortunate this article is so mis-informed.
"The PS3 Trophies can only be viewed by exiting a game and then selecting PSHome. By allowing achievements and gamerscore to be viewed at any time, Xbox has created a more competitive atmosphere among its gamers."
From this statement it's clear the author has no real experience on the PS3. First, you only need to select a username from the XMB to see their trophy score. In pure 'bu...
It's great Naugthy Dog is still supporting this game. Usually unheard up for such a single-player focused game.
When is this coming out? Tuesday?
Since when do they know anything?
When I worked at EB Games we were told very little. If you didn't keep up with sites like N4G on your own, you'd never know what was going on.
Sorry, I was referring to Kinect.
Although I will admit, Reach is the only game on my 360 list this year.
...every fanboy and their mom would jump ship and head to the PS3.
Yeah they have no idea what they're talking about.
These are all good suggestions. I doubt much in the original game will change though, adding Master Quest would be nice.
People have been talking about things like 'video chat technology' for years, no one ever really uses it. Chat with friends while watching a movie together? Some blu-ray disks already do this (BDLive). Does anyone ever use it? Doubtful.
If Microsoft's goal is to have the 360 at the centre of people's lives then fine, just make sure there are some good GAMES for the rest of us.
I can't stand the NXE. The sounds and style make it seem like it was designed for children. With the XMB I can very quick get to what I need to do. NXE I find my self navigating through endless pages/screens to do even the simplest things.
Man, AvP is $1.50. That's INSANE.
@eggbert : Why are you begging for games dude? Not cool. Go flip burgers or something.
Well, if you're paying $50 to get online and you're still subjected to ads that 'pay' for the services, where exactly is the original $50 going to?
The easiest way to pull money from consumers is making them believe there's value in it--trust me, I used to sell extended warranties. Unfortunately Sony's proved you don't *need* to pay to play online, and their ads are minimal; especially in Canada.
The point is, publishers will try a...
Head tracking might be alright.
I hear ya. The one 1UP guy comes to mind, the guy who sounded like a huge 360 fanboy (he denied it) then later went off to work for 343 Industries (the Halo devs).
Scans your face for some in-game REALISM? Or maybe you can now shout at your TV to navigate menus.
Maybe I lack imagination, but I don't see a lot of meaningful applications for Kinect in controller-based games.
Some reviews (see BLUR @ IGN) are terrible. Bad reviews are where the author clearly doesn't like the genre to begin with, probably hasn't played other similar titles to compare to, sucks at the game and/or probably only played a couple of hours. When you factor in the possibility of any one of these things, it's easy to imagine a bad review for a generally good game.
EDIT: @dangert12, I wouldn't say it's PS3 fans. The BLUR review was for all systems. Plu...
I'd definitely like to see some more space games, particularly space sims/traders. Love those games. Dark Star One is appearing on the 360 soon, might have to grab that.
