That video's deadly! hahaha
I like the idea of a new System Shock, but considering some publishers recent 'revivals' like XCOM (now an FPS) and Dues Ex (a 3rd person cover shooter) how could I trust anyone would do it properly?
...turns to gold---a new Zelda is no exception. Super Mario Galaxy 2 recently proved Nintendo's still got it.
Can't wait to hear the details.
Dungeon Keeper Online? omg, I hope this will be released in english too.
GameStooge? Yeah, actually. The creator was on The Daily Show a while ago. Apparently he has the biggest **** in the world...seriously; google Jonah Falcon.
I agree. It's impossible to imagine a multi-platform game maxing the PS3 out. MGS4 was done early in the PS3's life, so I'm willing to bet that didn't take advantage of all the PS3 architecture either.
...all of these replies are win. When companies take risks, consumers (usually) win. Sony has proven since the PSX that risks = reward. Since having played masterpieces like Uncharted and God of War Sony has proven they are the new Nintendo for this generation of gamers.
You mean you might get *yourself* this bundle. Hah, I always disguise my guilty pleasures as gifts for the wife/kids.
I hear ya. This motion-crap is a cash-in. Realistically, I would like to play some next-gen lightgun-styled shooters using Move, but we're talking about only a handful of games I'd use Move with, everything else will be DUALSHOCK 3 all the way.
"...based on the fact that all uve seen of Natal is tech demos."
Exactly my point: tech demos. It comes out in four months and all we're seeing is the 'ball game'? Not to mention some impressions already note the lag and capturing problems.
Any smart gamer would need more confidence in the product before dropping $150 on an accessory.
EDIT: @deadreckoning666: Sure, wait till launch and play it. The rest of us will be kne...
I was anticipating this game big time. I canceled my pre-order and moved it to Peace Walker. I'll grab Alpha Protocol either used or after a price reduction.
Big Legend of Dragoon fan here, the only other PSX RPG I truly loved outside of the FF's. The battle system reminded me of the skill-based Mario RPG mechanics. Haven't seen many RPGs since do it better than those two.
...given all the recent press I'm afraid it looks like Natal is still under-developed. Considering the lack of, well, games and with early reports like this, how do they expect to take on Wiimotes and Move in only a few months?
The 360 crowd is more mainstream than hardcore. Sure there are 'elite' gamers on the 360, but all they play are Halo and CoD. Yet, they hold no weight against the real pros: PC gamers.
The PS3 crowd are true gamers. Usually they're from the 80's and have developed a taste for new, ground breaking experiences akin to the games found in the SNES/PSOne era.
Listening to half-a-dozen podcasts full of closet-360 fanboys you'll hear them critici...
Eidos just published these titles Ion Storm developed Dues Ex. After Dues Ex 2 and Thief Warren Spector left, and Eidos shut down the studio. Not to mention Eidos made none of the games you've mentioned: IO made Hitman, and CORE did Tomb Raider (now it's Crystal Dynamics).
So, just because Eidos' name is on this title, doesn't mean it'll live up to expectations. I've even heard it's a third-person shooter with Gears of War cover mechanics.

MW2 was decent, and if they can expand and improve it, I'm there.
Sweet trailer.
Good call: http://www.1up.com/do/newsS...
Tough to say if it was Nintendo. Article states they both couldn't reach an agreement.
Definitely
Are we seeing the emergence of Infinity Ward/MW2 fanboys? WaW was an incredible game. The single-player far surpassed MW2's arcadey-over the top "Team America" version. CoD games were never about arcadey-gunhoe shooters. WaW was raw, powerful and realistic, like the originals before it. If Black Ops is anything like WaW's single-player with a dash of IW's incredible multiplayer elements Call of Duty: Black Ops has win all over it.
Fanboys: stick with MW2...
